  1. Darn. My avatar is almost "at an end". The 100th Anniversary PNE, ends it's run thru this coming Labor Day weekend.
  2. Almond. Covered in chocolate. Easy. Any/most brands incl. M&Ms.
  3. I will probably surprise a lot of those who already know of this coaster, and have differing opinions of it, on the whole. But for me, this is ONLY for the pre-lift part, yes? ... Jupiter at Kijima Park in Japan. The train leaves the station and then slowly picking up speed, enters into the middle of the layout and really cuts thru a nice section of the part-yet-to-ride, before it hits the lift-hill... And after that lift-hill...... well, that's another critique, lol! But definitely a good pre-lift, to be sure.
  4. Efteling is a wonderful classic European-style park, with the thrill rides up in one corner of it and the rest of the layout, given to lots of great landscaping and more Disney-like themeing for children and their families. And some really interesting classic themeing in the park, especially when it comes to the (many) Carousels/Merry-Go-Rounds, lol! And the new Joris en de Draak racing coasters are a great addition to it, alongside (the) BOBsled and Vliegende Hollander, the watercoaster. I would go back to that park again and again if and when TPR offered it as part of a future Euro-tour. EDIT to add: Duinrell coasters are fun, but has few rides, with it's "vacation village" setup. And Drivliet has Formule-X and a good assortment of rides and is still close to Amsterdam for access, "later on".... But Efteling still rules, because for a true theme park, it is massive and enjoyable on several levels, thrillrider or not.
  5. However the new season starts out, and continues into the new year (Sept.21 - ), I wish GLEE well at the Emmys, tonight. I'll be watching, and enjoying, and hoping, and celebrating...
  6. "But, it's organic!"
  7. ^^^ Busy, busy, busy for you, tomorrow night! Have fun, enjoy performing for the evening, and (of course) "Break Many Legs", lol! ^^^^ And - why can't there be a Canuck-Latin Lover, hmm???? Enjoy doing the show, Dan.
  8. ^ After I read thru it all.... my thought exactly! Great posting of all the information and photos, Holger. Looks like a really interesting park they're putting together, there.
  9. ^ Congratulations! And Break A Leg, not to mention have fun and enjoy!
  10. It's late, and Sunday is upon me. Hmmm.
  11. Wow. That was creepy, and interesting at the same time LOL! And the pix of the wheel and the dodgems "building" and cars... Very eery, looking at them, thinking how vibrant and 'alive' they must have been, back in "the better days of..." Thankyou for sharing your tour with us! It was great and again, strangely creepy to look at it all, nowadays.
  12. Have no idea. But paying off huge bills and accounts always seem to be "The First Thing To Take Care Of" Dept. Which is great to be able to do, heh heh. But - because I found this forum to post this random-related thing.... From my Oddest feeling Dept., the current big jackpot in a Canada-wide Lottery was over $50 Mil Cdn. last Friday's draw. And there were two winning tickets. The first winner has been identified as a group win. But the second winner hasn't come forward, yet. And... I haven't checked my tix, until (usual) tomorrow morning, when I go and buy next Friday's draw tix.... Hmmmm. Makes you think, "What if..." I'm hoping, LOL.
  13. No, I haven't gotten that stupid yet. Do you worry about things, way more than you should?
  14. Psyclone. Shorter ride cycle of pain. White Canyon goes on and on and on and.... it's still going! If you had an allergy, would you rather be allergic to dairy? Or nuts?
  15. Hey everybody! Happy Friday The 13th! Danger and mishaps await (most of) us all, lol....
  16. ^ Funny, but it doesn't ask for a 'yes' or 'no' answer. That said... Do you like beef jerky?
  17. Yes. Have you ever eaten/chewed a piece of raw licorice root? (I tried my first ones at Tivoli in Copenhagen, back on TPR'09 Scandi Tour)
  18. The Lamberts. ("Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, and Lamberts!")
  19. We had our annual hot tub party and potluck yesterday, all day. It went well. We had a good number of the guys show up for it. Lots of food and drink. And chat. And laughs. I was a Happy Host, LOL!
  20. Listening to entire soundtrack to Cirque du Soliel's 2007 production of KOOZA After seeing it last night in town. Very nice show. And great CD!
  21. ^ Just checked with my 2006 map and the current one Larry, and found that Evolution was removed after we were there back then, and where it stood, now stands.... The DODGEMS bumper cars. Hah - and the "Chicken Shack" food place still sits beyond that, lol.
  22. ^ Just read that too, somewhere around here. omgomgomgomgomgomgomgomgomgomgomgomgomgomg
  23. Saw Cirque du Soleil's KOOZA last night. Great show. And the CD is very jazzy and uptemp OOOMPH. Happy sing sing joy joi.
  24. Since I have two IKEAs within a good hour's drive from my home, I am continually jaded about the place. Rarely go there, if ever. But then.... TPR always makes an IKEA visit more..... interesting, lol. And FUN!!! Great start-up to this tour, Robb. And HOW MANY Credits does the KTums have, now?
  25. Loved Efteling again, on this second tour (first time was '08). Always want to include it on any future European park tour I do, lol. Sad that that Floating Island (Pagoda?) wasn't operating. The views of the park from up there are wonderful. Great photo report Eric! I too, will be sad to see it ending. But then that means I should get off my behind and start my TR up in the not too distant future, lol. Thanks for sharing it all!
