  1. "It's just - - a little Crush..." Just looove some of these numbers. I think the best part of the 2 cast soundtrack CDs now available, is that with the music/songs taken out of the show's context, it shows how really talented the cast - and the orchestrators and those who pick these numbers - really are.
  2. Woo hoo! ICE BAR was back!!! Some great shots there, Peter. "Almost" makes me want to come and visit Liseberg in the c-c-c-cold of w-w-w-wintertime.... Naw. The photos will do. Happy New Year Peter and thanks for sharing Liseberg 'A La Mode, heh heh.
  3. ^ Well for for now, Memphis defied those two 'success options' and I am sooooo looking forward to hearing the CD and enjoy what it's all about. All original score too, not thematic with already-written numbers inserted into it, which is great! But yeah, Ragtime was the other show I was sad to hear was closing, way too soon. Wonder if they'll get a cast recording, even so? Not much interested in the Sinatra-connected show, but then again you never know, right? And American Idiot I've been hearing about since they starting putting it together...back in the spring, last year? Who says they don't have any new ideas for musical theatre any more?
  4. "Swept Away" (Japanese version) From soundtrack of Tokyo Disney Seas' nighttime water show... BraviSEAmo! Still enjoy it every now and then. Some theme park music is really very very good. This certainly is. The show was wonderful, too!
  5. Just bought online the new Broadway cast CD of MEMPHIS. Woo hoo! Got it thru http://www.broadwaystore.com - and it looks like the new revival cast CD of A Little Night Music will be out in the spring. Can't wait for that one, too! And as well, the revival cast CD of Finian's Rainbow will be released on Amazon.com February 2. Too bad it too (like Shrek), will be closing soon (January 17) due to recent economic problems. With Catherine Zeta-Jones and Angela Lansbury, this CD can't be released soon enough, as far as I'm concerned. (o: On it's way soon to me. Being released at Amazon.com on Feb.02 - and closing sadly, before the CD is released.

  10. I admit it. Instant coffee (which I do like) and a Gingerbread Latte' from Starbucks (not a big fan of them) $7.50 approx. Cdn.
  11. "You Can't Stop The beat" John Travolta and the cast on the soundtrack of HAIRSPRAY
  12. Well, we'll re-locate them to another coaster more worthy of bovine goodliness, LOL! Coasters have feelings? Who knew?
  13. Anaconda at Parc d'Walygator, outside Paris. It hurts, its painful, it's awful... and once was enough for the *^$@# credit. Can I light one of the matches?

  22. Mike is Big. Mike is Good. Likes his steel. Likes his wood. Football rules. Football rocks. Now all he needs - Is yellow socks! Go for it, Mike!
  23. That (what I call) "side spinner" (up 2 pix?) looks just evil and awesome at the same time, Divv! I am taking to love these things, like the one at Sarkannemi in Finland (Football Themed and double benched opposite each other?) and a smaller (also Football themed I remember) one in one of the Japanese parks we went o back in '07; and then there was the one in Heide Park back in '08... what was that section called again? Named after the company that produced all the flats, lol. Well, they're fun and crazy to ride, I love them too, and it's Your Loss you didn't ride it Divv, lol. Hope you all have a Happy and Fantasic New Year, everybody!
  24. And further to add, since I love this show so much, more and more... Am now Listening to Cory Monteith / Finn knock "I'll Stand By You" out of the friggin' proverbial ballpark...on the Volume 2 CD of GLEE... "Nice BC boy makes really good" (it's true he's from the Vancouver area!), just as good as Lea Michele (or any of these wonderful actors, really) in their chameleon ability to take a number and totally own it - also thanks to great orchestrating, directing, choreography etc. I am in bliss with GLEE - and its not all Lea. It's Cory, Amber, Chris, Jayma, Mark, Dianna, Matthew, Kevin, Jenna, and even non-singing Jane Lynch / Sue too, Hah hah! I wish them all a fabulously GLEE-ful 2010! (Now it's "Crush" on, with the amazing Michele... )
  25. Best Wishes for the Season, Mike. And see you again, on a future TPR Tour!
