Just heard on radio, about the syndrome we've heard of lately, in OMG press... F.A.S. Foreign Accent Syndrome. Woman was put under for dental work - - woke up with natural 'normal sounding' Irish accent! And of course, never had the accent in the first place...

I was at Playland last Saturday, opening day for the park's season. Atmosfear sits where the bumper cars (they're called 'Scooters' on the park map) building used to sit, between the Pirate Ship ride and Gladiator. That's now been moved closer (south) to the Kettle Creek Mine Coaster. Gladiator is still in it's same spot, only the entrance/exit to it is now opposite the Breakdance ride, and not the other side where it was before. The construction fencing for Atmosfear has caused this change. Everything else is where it's been before, year after year. Only the Scooters changed location. And to the above ^^. I think that AtmosFEAR is a pretty good name for such an attraction. And as posted before, there's only what, three or four attractions in the world that have this name? Not that much of an "obsession," heh heh.

Whoa. Just got (nice) shudders after the POV went down the first drop, then (:26) into that (probable?) airtime bunny hop..... Had to pause it. Very nice. And I still haven't seen the rest of your footage just yet, LOL! But so far, so very good, Robb. And...uh, when is the next TPR Scandi Tour again.....? (EDIT to add after viewing: Lovely Lovely Sick Sick Twisted Twins of a ride, LOL!)

Simply put... Grona Lund RULES! The coaster looks fantastic, Robb.

Ooo boy! Damn, I am getting so excited about this coaster, and yet I still have No Idea when the heck I'll be there to ride it, in all it's twisty goodness. That's okay. Eventually. With another TPR Tour, heh heh.

When I were there in 2007, the new re-do of Sinbad had just opened that year. First version was more 'dark & angry' in Sinbad's confrontations through his travels. GP didn't like it much, so they Small Worl'd it and now it's all sweet and happy - but I still loved it, LOL! I asked, but was told (back then) the soundtrack from the revised attraction wasn't out just yet. But now - am hoping - it's available when I'm there in June, maybe on a Disney Sea attractions' list soundtrack cd. (Sorry to sidetrack from Fantasmic!, but hey - it's all TDS goodness, lol!)

Hope they have the soundtrack cd of Fantasmic! available, by the time our TPR tour group gets there in late June. They probably will, and I'll find it in the main "emporium" there near the front entrance of TDS. I got the soundtrack cds available for TDS' two shows back in 2007... The Legend of Mythica (daytime) and BraviSEAmo! (night) I loved both shows and the cd soundtracks always bring them both back to life for me. BraviSEAmo! cd. Where FIRE and WATER used to (ahem) "get it on" with music and lights, lol! R.I.P. The Legned of Mythica cd. A fun daytime show with great waterfloats, lots of drumming - and still "playing" at TDS!

^ From looking at all the photos they posted - I'm pretty sure it's taken the place of where the sorry excuse of our bumper cars were, lol. Wonder if those get "bumped" (hee hee) ro somewhere else in the park? Or to gain a new attraction - do we lose an old one? Will find out this Saturday; finally, the new season starts!

I do! I do, Elissa! It's actually a disgustingly useless 15th Anniversary teatowel I bought in Disneyland Paris back in 2007, LOL! Hardly dries the dishes, and has a rough weave - but probably a perfect Parade Mat (and park entry sitting mat, hmmm?) for sitting on, HAH! I've been savin' this one up for that very purpose AND park(s), Elissa! (EDIT to note, to make sure I am on every future TPR Japan Tour, with TDL & TDS as well.)

The only Fantasmic I've seen, is the original in DL back in (gulps) March 1996, a couple of years after DL had premiered it, in the Rivers of America. And I still have the souvenir pictorial program too - squeeel! But... Am tempted to see the vids, but I want to be surprised in June when I stake out my viewing spot (at least an hour) before it all starts and see for myself, on the upcoming TPR Japan Tour, there. In the meantime.... Woo Hoo - Can't Wait! That is all.

^^ Really. Our Cdn. network that was 'taking over' the FOX broadcast of the episode, kept interrupting the show in spots NOT intended for a commercial, and ran one. Or several, I should say, lol. Then, there'd be this blackness on the screen, and after the third one, that's where we figured they were "supposed" to put the commercial breaks. We never thought this network could be - so - dumb, about where to put the friggin' commericals!!!! ARRRRRRRRgh. Apart from that, we loved it... the duet with Rachel & Quinn, Curt's Diva Re-Entrance Song from "Sunset Boulevard" (channeling Patti LuPone?), and "Born This Way" we enjoyed very much, how they staged it. And the Bully & Santana, The Lebanese! That was a pretty wild setup, we thought.

^^ Honestly, you never know what'll pull somebody's....fright trigger, hmm? Till it happens of course. Even after she's been on X-2, lol! Then again, there is that surge of wind whipping through your wheel car there... Wild. Love the new pix of Goofy's Sky School, CF11. Showing what they should of done with the thing the first time around. It may turn out to be a "sleeper hit" when it and Mermaid opens up in a month or so. I like it, for what they've re-done with it. And then, as you say - there's that Future Attraction in the corner there, too.

Am closer and closer to finally heading back to Japan with TPR! And Fuji-Q Too! (Actually, F-Q's a rant, but when there's Tokyo Disney Sea, who cares LOL?)

Yes. And gotten bruised in one or two. No fun. Have you ever buckled up in your seat, wrong? (i.e. buckle flipped over, etc.)

Maybe GaGa should get together with Disney and create that Villains Park the company famously rumored years ago, with the idea/concept of creating it at WDW... Just a suggest, lol.

I say, if the Lady has the $ (and interested investors) and the interest and ideas to create and build such a park, let her do it. As Disney said (and IMhO to me, not just for DL), "As long as there's imagination in the world..." (partial quote, I know) And to those who think that it wouldn't work, couldn't work, and/or shouldn't be created... Simple. Just don't come to the park when it opens. Ro - Ro - Rollercoaster! And I bet when Dolly first announced her DW plans, a lot of the planet went "WTF"?

Heck, I'll get in line for this park, too! (I can hear it now - "Baby I was born, to Coaster This Way!")
