U2Rox Posted November 17, 2008 Posted November 17, 2008 Just wanted to say here in El Paso gas is at 2.15 lowest Iv'e seen and 2.25 highest. It's good to see the prices go down!! I'm also wondering when it will reach the one dollar mark!
Brandy524 Posted November 17, 2008 Posted November 17, 2008 We're currently at $1.97. I can't believe how fast it's falling.
mertz19 Posted November 18, 2008 Posted November 18, 2008 The lowest price was $1.77 last night in savannah
Loefet Posted November 19, 2008 Posted November 19, 2008 Yay, the price of gas have gone down from 9$ per gal this summer to 5!! Mmm, too bad that I don't have a car to put it in though
chmilo24 Posted November 21, 2008 Posted November 21, 2008 Yea! The gas station near my church has $1.98, the lowest I have seen since I was a child. --Chris
spaceace12 Posted November 21, 2008 Posted November 21, 2008 Almost 4 years ago, I started work at my p/t job that is a grovery store and gas station. I remembering that Tostino's pizza's were on sale for a dollar each and had 2 cents off each. I bought enough to have 1.70 some cents off each gallon of gas. I believe gas was 1.77 for regular then. I filled up with premium for .03 cents a gallon. Which brings me to today. Gas was 1.77 for regular. I just checked Speedway's gas prices, they are 1.73 a gallon. With oil down below 50 dollars a barrel, I wonder how low it will go. I remember back in 2000 when I wrecked my moms car and we didn't have a car for the summer. Gas went to about 90 cents a gallon. While I know it won't hit that, 1.50 would be nice.
thrillerman1 Posted November 21, 2008 Posted November 21, 2008 ^ Well it dropped 3 cents overnight and was at $1.78 when I drove into work.
ebl Posted November 22, 2008 Posted November 22, 2008 A page or so back, I mentioned that gas around here is about $2.30. Just tonight, I filled up for $2.03! I'll bet it's under $2 down in Orange County, where gas tends to run cheaper than around here. Eric
gerd.muller Posted November 22, 2008 Posted November 22, 2008 gas is getting cheaper and cheaper. 1.19 euro/liter this morning in munich.
Kalepi_Konei Posted November 23, 2008 Posted November 23, 2008 1.99 for premium gas! Yes it's amazing folks, it's true we're now officially in the 1 dollar range! So buy your gas now!
Homer Posted November 23, 2008 Posted November 23, 2008 1.99 for premium gas! Yes it's amazing folks, it's true we're now officially in the 1 dollar range! So buy your gas now! Still kind of peeved Florida is higher than the national average for premium. Then again, we did have some of the lowest prices of gas during the past summer when it was $4/gal. As for premium right now, the lowest I've seen is $2.19. As for regular, $1.94.
thrillgeek Posted November 23, 2008 Posted November 23, 2008 The winter prices for gas sure look promising!!
AllenA07 Posted November 23, 2008 Posted November 23, 2008 I paid $1.58 a gallon yesterday. I've got to think that the fall in prices has to stop soon, I can't imagine we're going to see prices much lower then they are now.
U2Rox Posted November 24, 2008 Posted November 24, 2008 $1.99 average in El Paso Yesterday however, traffic was backed up with people going crazy for gas that was $1.70
Bolliger&Mabillard Posted November 24, 2008 Posted November 24, 2008 My jaw literally dropped when I found a place for $1.99.
RCFreak Posted November 24, 2008 Posted November 24, 2008 I filled up last night at a gas station that had the cheap stuff for $1.95 and I think I cried a little bit.
emily>piers Posted November 24, 2008 Posted November 24, 2008 90p for a litre of unleaded. Before I went to Orlando it was £1.18. I may be able to fill my 1200cc Clio for about £30 this time!
coastercrazed49 Posted November 24, 2008 Posted November 24, 2008 Driving through the center of town I saw one place the was at $1.88!
thrillerman1 Posted November 25, 2008 Posted November 25, 2008 In Nashville it was $1.65 as I left work tonight. I wonder if the US holiday (Thanksgiving) this week will slow or stall the price drop.
bspellx5 Posted November 25, 2008 Posted November 25, 2008 Around my area in upstate NY, its around 2.40 for regular. Add a dime or two to that if you fill up at Mobil.Seems somewhat high as opposed to some other parts of the US.
