thomas2
Anyone got a POV of this huge coaster..? I got a onride (quicktime) filmed from the 4th car Has the trains been changed or are they the same. I don't know what happened to the trains, but I have the feeling they'll unfortunately be the same as the old ones Steel Dragon 2000.rar Onride of SD2K
RCfanatic
Thanks for the vid, SD2K looks smooth and HUGE!, and those last bunny hops look like they contain a nice bit of airtime. I feel so sorry i'm probarly never gonna ride it, if only it was closer to Tokyo i might consider going there.
Homer
Wait, are you sure it says September 3rd, or does it say March 9th of next year?
viking86
If it was the 9th of March next year there wouldnt be any reasons for the park to make such a fuss about it right now.
CP_RULES
Looks like RCDB needs to update their page, it still says its SBNO. -Justin "Yay for Morgan coasters!" Seabaugh
PhishyBrewer
That's awesome! Hopefully I can break away from Tokyo for awhile and hit up Nagashima. I believe there is a train that goes directly to the park. Does anyone know?
Thrillrider15
Alright! After three years of "Standing but not Operating" status, the three hundred foot Morgan is back into operation. I guess we should give Wild Thing at Valleyfair!, a thank you?

Ed
If only I had the money to go on the Japan trip.
SharkTums
There is not a train that goes directly to the park. There are two stations nearby. One about 15 minutes, and one about 20 minutes by taxi/bus. Then you can either take a bus or taxi to the park.
ECZenith
Awesome news, hopefully some photos show up so we can see if it does in fact use the same old weird trains.
verticalzero
Can a POV be posted for this ride which does not have an ending of .ra wrebbit - Do you have this POV as a .mov or .wmv file Thanks
robbalvey
I just can't wait to hear everyone say it's the "best ride ever" now that it's open and hardly anyone has been able to ride! Just like we were told how BMRX was the best ride EVER from all the ACErs who didn't realize we'd be getting out there the following month on our secret Japan trip to find out for ourselves that they were full of sh1t! --Robb "We'll give the straight dope on it next year!" ginzo
You really have it in for ACErs. I don't have a lot of experience with those guys, as I'm pretty much a n00b to this. Did an ACEr eat your dog or something?

SFNE Dude
Can someone convert the file then. I really want to see it too but I can't play the .rar file either.
thomas2
^Sorry I don't know how to do that... Regarding the onride: after watching this one and the one of MF, don't you have the feeling the drop of SD2K lasts much longer? It just keeps going while the one of MF appears to be over fairly quick. But that's probably because MF's is much steeper. Anyway I'm really glad SD2K reopens. It would be a real shame if we lost such a big coaster since there aren't many giga's in the world
jmccalip
Can someone convert the file then. I really want to see it too but I can't play the .rar file either. Simple. Just go to, SCREAM HEAVEN, where he took it from in the first place. http://www.asovini.com/screamer/e/index.html It's been up there for years and years, I don't know why no one has seen it. thomas2
It's been up there for years and years, I don't know why no one has seen it. Well I searched for months for a good pov using search machines like google, but I couldn't find one. I 'accidentely' stumbled on this site. jmccalip
Well, I just think you should have linked to the site. You went to all the trouble of compressing it into RAR(not many people have WinRAR), when you coulda just posted this link: http://www.asovini.com/screamer/mov/sd2k_wide.mov They can stream it if they want, or download it. Alot more people have quicktime or realplayer, so it just makes it eaiser. I can, however, see how posting a link to a site that anyone can have access to would make you seem like just an average SD2k enthusiast.

Astat
^ It's a Schwarzkopf coaster that they went on, I think during the Japan trip. There's a POV of it up on the site somewhere...
