TheStig Posted November 22, 2005 Posted November 22, 2005 I must say that TTD, Xcelerator, and (dont kill me for this) Whizzer have awsome trains! TTD is cool just because of the sleek, Top fuel dragster look, Xcelerator has the 57' Chevy thing goin on, and Whizzer has the coolest trains ever! I mean, a lap belt and tobbogan style seats on a great ride like itself is a awsome combo. Colin C
dc006f5086 Posted November 24, 2005 Posted November 24, 2005 I like xcelerators and rita queen of speeds trains, they are the best, http://www.towerstimes.co.uk/rides/ugland/rita8.jpg http://www.towerstimes.co.uk/rides/ugland/rita18.jpg
olimonn Posted November 24, 2005 Posted November 24, 2005 ^Rita 's trains are definitely not good! The weird harnesses are to sharp with your neck... It's verry unconfortable! Plus the Train rattles in the curves (not in front and back rows though), and makes your neck smash into the knives... sorry the harness bars... And the lab par isn't just comfortable! I really think Intamin could Have donne better than those poor trains... My best vehicule is the B&M Flyer train, never felt so comfy in a roller coaster in my whole life!
Luxo Posted November 24, 2005 Posted November 24, 2005 I think the doombuggies in the haunted mansion are really cool ride vehicles. They are perfect for "spook houses" because they almost force you to look in one direction.
Stitch Posted November 24, 2005 Posted November 24, 2005 The Amazing Adventures of Spiderman gets my vote for the best ride vehicle.
pianojohn Posted November 24, 2005 Posted November 24, 2005 The first year or two that Gemini at Cedar Point was open (1978-79), the front logo on the car was written in a prism-like font that changed color in the sun. Also, the trains gradually got darker the farther back you sat. For example, the red trains started off as a pail yellow and got redder towards the back of the train. To me, that was pretty cool, since the only thing you could compare them to in that day were basic PTC trains and first generation Arrow loopers.
woah_killa Posted November 25, 2005 Posted November 25, 2005 It's not a roller coaster train, and it's not the most comfortable, but I think Acrophobia's seats are pretty neat for a drop ride...it's my favorite.
Spookbaby Posted November 25, 2005 Posted November 25, 2005 Although I've never ridden it I think Rita's train is by far the coolest.... anyone seen the movie "Christine?" hahahahaha
sfmmFREAK Posted November 25, 2005 Posted November 25, 2005 X's trains aren't so much cool as they are comfortable.

I was refering saying that Ritas trains are the best looking, not for how comfy they are, and the majority of intamin coasters are rough, rita is not the only one, as for which is the most comfy Air at alton towers the trains are lovely.
lagg Posted November 25, 2005 Posted November 25, 2005 I like the strata trains, TTD's are pretty cool with the race car. I also like the phunky design of R'n'R's they suit the rock theme well.
TwistedTrack Posted November 26, 2005 Posted November 26, 2005 B&M hyper cars. the shell restraints are comfortable. and let you move around a lot, but you dont get to much air time on them.
major bummer Posted September 27, 2007 Posted September 27, 2007 3 Way tie!!!!!! X trains, Dueling Dragons trains, and Maverick trains X: comfort Dueling Dragons: B&M always makes good seats Maverick: hated ride but like the trains look MORE Goliath SFMM Ginovia trains are low to the track and lap bar is cool
DarkMeasures Posted September 27, 2007 Posted September 27, 2007 I like Test Track's and Rocket Rodd's train designs actually out of anything else. I mean sure there are no hydralics. But the designs are really neat. The Mark VII monorail trains look cool too. But I haven't seen anything of the actual trains and I think they are supposed to be delivered to Disneyland in like November.
kraken613 Posted September 27, 2007 Posted September 27, 2007 All B&M seats are so comfy. I like Griffons stadium seating to.
sam06pr Posted September 28, 2007 Posted September 28, 2007 I like Dueling Dragons Trains!!! rcdb.com/ig558.htm?picture=18 rcdb.com/ig558.htm?picture=19 They look hot and awesome.
Golfie Posted September 28, 2007 Posted September 28, 2007 B&M's "Hyper" trains - they provide the most freedom of ANY trains ever. Being able to stretch my arms AND legs out, lean from side to side, etc., is so wonderful; they're just not confining at all. I agree. B&M Hyper seats are the most comfortable seats I've ever sat in, plus I get to dangle my legs! (which is a pretty uncommon occassion because of my height)
thrillrideseeker Posted September 28, 2007 Posted September 28, 2007 Personally I like the ride vehicles on Revenge of The Mummy at Universal Studios Orlando! I like the way that each row moves on its own, but it is still really close to the row in front of it. They are not like most roller coasters where there is like a foot of space between rows. This one they are like right on top of each other and it makes the ride car seem more compact. They are like so my favorite ride vehicles! ~Matthew
mikejenkins1 Posted September 28, 2007 Posted September 28, 2007 What about the Italian Job cars? The ride is so so but the cars are definitely one of a kind and very cool looking.
chuckle 25 Posted October 13, 2007 Posted October 13, 2007 The Trains of Stealth at thorpe park are like, 80s cars (or 60's (I'm not a history bof))
Leaping La Ronde Boobis Posted October 13, 2007 Posted October 13, 2007 My vote goes to the "new" eight passenger Delorean time machines on BTTF. I loved how the time circuits always showed the current date and time right when the ride started.
ECZenith Posted October 13, 2007 Posted October 13, 2007 My favorite ride vehicles are the EMVs on Indiana Jones and The Temple of The Forbidden Eye. They look great and the hydraulics definately add to the experience by making the ride seem rough and out of control.
Erik_73 Posted October 13, 2007 Posted October 13, 2007 What about this train... Running on a boomerang at the Vienna Prater. For as I know, the only train that runs on the good old Arrow (and Vekoma) looping track without over the head restrains. As a Formula 1 fan, I do like the look of that train, but I don't think this train type will ever ride in the USA. You can reach the wheels and the track (especially at the looping entry and exit). It will never be approved by the USA authorities.
