bert425 Posted December 23, 2013 Posted December 23, 2013 Saw this on "Chopped" as a mystery ingredient. . . looks disgusting, but I have to admit, it's my "favorite" thing now -- just to pull out of the pantry to show people: (no, I"m NEVER gonna open it and actually TRY it)
cedarpointfangirl Posted December 23, 2013 Posted December 23, 2013 Hormels White Chicken Chili!! Yumm.....
cfc Posted December 23, 2013 Posted December 23, 2013 Campbell's Scotch Broth is pretty good. Canned soups in general are much better now than they were when I was a kid.
michaellynn4 Posted December 23, 2013 Posted December 23, 2013 Cranberry sauce. Canned, jellied cranberry sauce. Thanksgiving just isn't complete without it!
Nrthwnd Posted December 23, 2013 Posted December 23, 2013 I have no idea where I got this photo from. But the eating choices are....interesting. Mmmm, dragon meat.
Philrad71 Posted December 24, 2013 Posted December 24, 2013 ^ Wow...that really is a heart attack in a can! Bet that stuff doesn't fly off the store shelves just because of the name, let alone the cholesterol content. Does it come with free Lipitor and a defib?
cfc Posted December 24, 2013 Posted December 24, 2013 It should come with a coupon for a free triple bypass.
screaminkid2005 Posted December 24, 2013 Posted December 24, 2013 Wow that is probably the nastiest can food I have ever seen.
805Andrew Posted December 27, 2013 Posted December 27, 2013 Chunk Light or Albacore Tuna in a can, especially if it's in olive oil (though water is fine too). I love mixing the tuna with Tabasco or another hot sauce and chopped onions and putting it on a toasted bread sandwich w/ lettuce, tomato and mayo. I also really like Campbell's Tomato Soup, Cream of Mushroom Soup, and Chunky New England Style Clam Chowder.
'sconsin Posted December 31, 2013 Posted December 31, 2013 I guess... chili. It's not the best, but typically is pretty solid
booink Posted January 3, 2014 Posted January 3, 2014 Any chicken noodle soup is my favorite thing in a can
gisco Posted January 4, 2014 Posted January 4, 2014 I used to eat a whole can of Spaghetti O's with a scoop of cottage cheese when I was in school.
805Andrew Posted January 7, 2014 Posted January 7, 2014 I never liked Spaghetti O's or Chef Boyardee. My Grandma always raves about the Chef Boyardee Mini Beef Ravioli and makes me buy her 6 cans every time I do grocery shopping for her. And the sad thing is she is from a full blooded Italian background.
Nrthwnd Posted July 22, 2015 Posted July 22, 2015 Decided to dust this thread off, once we ran into these at a local market downtown... Never heard of these! Has anybody else heard of them? The cheese ones didn't taste too bad. The tomato, we'll try later. (o;
Midgetman82 Posted August 5, 2015 Posted August 5, 2015 If Pringles count, those. Otherwise, most Chef Boyardee pasta.
Nrthwnd Posted August 5, 2015 Posted August 5, 2015 ^ Hey a 'can' is a can, no matter what the material it's made of. Pringles Rule!
DoinItForTheFame Posted September 26, 2015 Posted September 26, 2015 By far Campbell's Chicken Won Ton!
DarienLaker Posted November 1, 2015 Posted November 1, 2015 Soup, black olives, Beefaroni, and SpaghettiO's!
