pgathriller
California is full of theme parks and full of coasters. Which coaster do you think is the best and the worst in Califonia. Best- Top Gun- PGA Worst- Grizzly- PGA * I haven't been to many California Parks but I know from experience that the Grizzly to me is the worst coaster in California. Blazen_AZN
Best, X no doubt!!!!! Worst, Boomerang, but it's not that bad, but those final brakes are killer. I dont remember my last ride on psyclone, and havnt been on Ghostrider since it got all rough.
coastered
My last visit to California was in 2001. I only have visited PGA. The best coaster @ pga was Stealth the worst coaster: Grizzly But next year i'm going to visit all the california themeparks if that is possible. And I know for sure that I will have a new best and worst coaster.
Jeezus Juice
^^^ I've been to every CA park (Except Tahoe...I know, I know) and I think you've got the best/worst right there!
PhishyBrewer
^What credits are there in Tahoe Don? We'll be up there for Thanksgiving. Best CA Wood: Roar at SFMW Best CA Steel: Top Gun at PGA Worst CA Wood: Grizzly at PGA Worst CA Steel: Invertigo at PGA
Jeezus Juice
^ Just this sad little coaster. http://www.rcdb.com/ig652.htm?picture=1 Even as much of a whore as I am I can't bring myself to drive 4 hours to tahoe when there's no snow to ride a kiddie coaster at a park with no website or any reliable information. And is that april/may Roar or the pothole/rumbler Roar we rode a few weeks ago? Man CA wood coasters really suck a lot of ass. What are the top woodies, Roar, Ghostrider, and the Giant Dippers? I would put anything in PA higher than those. California is almost as bad as Florida! -Don "GWAZI!" Garrison
socalMAN123
Best: (3-Way Tie) X, Goliath, or Xcelerator Worst: Boomerang or Psyclone (I haven't been on Flashback, so I don't know pain) ---Brent 8)
Immel Man
Three or four years ago I would have said Ghostrider was the best, but considering the condition its running in these days, Top Gun is probably the best. I haven't been on Grizzly yet, so I guess Psyclone or Boomerang are the worst for me.
sfmmFREAK
best: X worst: california westcoaster at pacific park. SOOOO BORING!
Jeezus Juice
Best: I've got to give a nod to Xcelerator, also Roller Coaster at Funderwoods so I can feel all superior for having ridden it! Worst: Westcoaster?! No way! That coaster is totally smooth and alot of fun! I vote for a two way tie between Psyclone and Grizzly for wood and lump all the Boomerangs/Invertigos for steel. Geez, that thing is still running? That was going at South Shore when I was a little kid. I wonder if they still have the box with the "Baby Rattlers" and the super slide that requires you to sit on burlap sacks?
zongaboy626
best steelie the demon best woody giant dipper i would have said roar but it was running like crap on the 29th

BarryH
I've only been to SoCal, but I have to say X was overrated. The surprisingly fun coaster was Treetop Racers at Adventure City. It's one of the best wild mice I've ever ridden. Those tree branches were sure some wicked headchoppers!

SonOfBeastSucks
The only park I have been to in California is SFMM and the Santa Monica Pier, so out of the ones that I have ridden... Best: Scream Worst: Jr. Goliath
methos
Best: Xcelerator Worst: Psyclone i found x to be awasome but liked Xcelerator better. i only hit so cal. i think goliath was a bit of a let down due to all the hype it got, found superman ros sfne to be ten times a better ride. Wes
Batman. I'm not going to pick a wooden coaster since they're all pretty mediocre.

What about the Flying Dragon at Funderland in Sacramento, or the Flying Dragon at Pixieland Park?? Check out the pics of the coasters at Funderwoods and Funderland on RCDB. I took them. WalrusMan
Out of my limited Nor Cal experiences..... Best wood: Giant Dipper @ SCBB Best steel: Top Gun @ PGA Worst wood: Grizzly @ PGA Worst steel: Boomerang @ SFMW The worst steel was hard because I couldn't think of any really bad steels here. tinkerbell
I haven't been on much outside of NorCal but for me, the best is a tie between Roar (SFMW) and California Screamin' (DCA). And the worst would probably be Boomerang (SFMW).
Angry_Gumball
Best Wood: Giant Dipper (SCBB) Steel: Goliath, Riddler's Revenge, Medusa Worst Wood: Grizzly, Psyclone, Grizzley Steel: (Not so) Super-Man: The Escape or "Freeway: The ride"

I just didn't want to cop to having been to a place called Pixieland. My turn I guess...how about Dragon Train, Traintown?
