Was rewatching some episodes of Insane Coaster Wars, and in the segment about Gatekeeper, the narrator said "This might just be the most intense coaster ever" . I haven't ridden Gatekeeper yet, but I highly doubt it's the most intense coaster ever.

I rode GateKeeper, and it was one of the least intense roller coasters I ever went on.

Can I say something crazy? My mom says Gatekeeper is the best coaster she has been on. What about the others?

And we've looped back to B&M making awesome coasters, even if they're disappointing to enthusiasts.

Gatekeeper isn't the best, but it doesn't disappoint at all.

Gatekeeper does deliver especially in aesthetics and layout. The forces aren't there, but it is still a great ride. It definitely does look like the best out of all of the wingriders, but I still prefer Wild Eagle.

I guess Gatekeeper isn't that bad. It is, like you guys have said, it is still fun and visually entrancing. It also gave me a great reason to go to Cedar Point over Hawaii back in 2013. And visiting in the opening season, it did seem to please visitors. So, Gatekeeper is not as stupendously horrendous as I may have come across depicting it. On the subject of Gatekeeper...

Remember how in that episode, the girls who voted said that Gatekeeper had lots of "airtime"?

I get so pissed off when I'm watching a video of something coaster related, and I go through the comments and see people trying to act like badasses. I'll go through the comments and see someone say,"This is nothing I've ridden kingda ka it's ten times worse than this." I just get so mad when I see something like this. Then everyone goes out of their way to say that their home park is the best and all the others suck. " CP is the best, no SFMM is better, Oh yeah, well KD takes a giant crap on both of them." Do people realize that there are other parks out there besides the closest one to them? If you haven't already seen it watch the video where Kevin Hart and Jimmy Fallon ride Hollywood Rip Ride Rockit and read through the comments, there are enough stupid comments there to supply a years worth of material for this board.

Thanks for bringing that up. I just looked it up, and these are just a few of the dumb comments I read...

Why is a nine year old on Youtube, isn't that illegal?

Also, I've realized that people forget how to spell and use correct grammar whenever they comment on Youtube, this annoys me as well.

Youtube is the place to go if you want to see stupid stuff. Also, FACEBOOK is ridiculous, people complain about the Fast Lane system all the time and it's really annoying.

I went on Millennium Force when I was 7, so suck it

But seriously, age shouldn't matter. Especially when 12 year olds are boasting about rides that are made for kids as young as 6.

Some more dumb YouTube comments I found watching coaster videos:

-YOUR WRONG! THE TOP THRILL IS TALLER THEN KINGDA KA! TOP THRILL IS 486 FEET TALL! KINGDA KA IS ONLY 378

-Well we're all going to die someday why not on a rollercoster

-Nearly died on the Vortex in California's Great America. The bar that comes over your head did not latch do to my rotund size. The ride attended pulled at the bar sideways (not up and down) to check if it latched and gave the ride operator the "thumbs up" sign. The ride started and my sister watch in horror (from the line to get on) as I swung the bar up and down as the ride moved to the top of the first fall, Some how I swung it hard enough just as the ride crested the top to latch it. The whole time up to the top I contemplated where I could jump that would at least be survivable... Luckily I never had to find out.

-So you'll be trying to enjoy food while hearing teenagers scream their lungs out every minute? Who's the idiotic architect that designed this!?

-On a Fury 325 video: Why can't a coaster like this be at Canadas Wonderland?

At my homepark (La Ronde) there's an SLC (Ëdnor) and a Batman the ride clone (Le Vampire) and one time at school I told one of my friends that Le Vampire is WAY better than Ëdnor and then he stared at me in a really weird way and he told me that Ëdnor is better because its scarier and you feel like if your legs are going to be choped off.

you feel like if your legs are going to be choped off.

Some people enjoy strange sensations.

Don't we all love near-misses and head/footchoppers elements?

Yeah but the point is that he prefers riding a Vekoma slc than riding a Batman the ride clone

Yeah of course there is no point of comparison between those rides. But that argument is actually legit, even if less significant for the most of us.

^^ Not that I recall, though there was the girl who had one (or both? I can't remember the details) of her feet amputated after a cable snap on a drop tower.

I think that happened on the old 2nd gen drop tower at Kentucky Kingdom. A cable snapped, and then whipped around and severed the girl's feet.
