- Tell us anything else you want about your TPR visits!_I am a PTR whore. Always interested to see the pics, particularly IOA, BGE, and a few other parks. Enjoy the talented and humerous photographers who post. Most entertaining. If somebody has a question or is looking for info, I try to help out as others have done for me. I crack jokes to lighten the mood and encourage people, rather than cut them down. If there's a chance for a pun or random movie quote, I'll take it. That's just part of the fun.

The one for the Mainland Europe trip (since there are fewer topics and it's easier to go through everything there then move on). Then Donkeys, Random and occasionally the coaster gaming section.

Every day, at least a few times a day (early morning, afternoon, late evening)

Donkeys usually page 1 but check page 2 in case something has slipped down there that I haven't seen yet.

Definitely PTR threads. Most of the time rumour threads are visited only if I've been to the park or am going there on an '08 trip.

Occasionally the chatroom but it's usually pretty empty. I occasionally glance at profiles but more for people on trips I'm part of. Very occasionally photos on the main site... I usually just go to RCDB if I want to see what a coaster looks like.

Definitely the most relaxed and idiot-free forum I've come across. I think the tolerance for wankers is even less than on SomethingAwful.

Depends on how large the topic is.

I love reading the different TR's and even the random TR's on the random board. I also like the general coaster topics and coaster-related news. Actually reading others' PTR's motivate me to make my own(when i actually have a chance to go to a park) to share.

I post when neseccary (like now!) and watch all the POV's that come out.

My daily routine is come to work, see what I gotta do for the day, log on to TPR and read the latest happenings for the rest of the day. The fact that the forums are very active and insteresting makes me come back here all the time.

I visit TPR most days, during worktime when not busy and after work to check for any updates.

 

I 1st visit: Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys to see if there are any new coaster pic's and news. I may reply to some Threads.

 

I also check the Random Threads for any updates.. If I have any news i will post it and add pictures.

 

Normally checkout the whole 1st page of each thread to see what has been added.

 

It's definitely one of the best forums I belong to, thank you Robb and everyone else who looks after it.

The Donkey one, then Random, Random, Random. Sometimes the Ask Alvey or Video one.

Almost every day.

I like Photo TRs and park updates. The Random forum is good for a laugh (I'll never look at Spaghetti-os the same after reading "Cooking with Joe", for instance)

I occasionally watch videos. My son has watched the "What Not To Do On a Roller Coaster" cartoon about 872 times.

I usually read the first page only, but if it is very interesting, then I read the topic.

Things that are interesting yet very random, Photo TRs (especially if they are about the parks in Florida), and articles posted about Florida parks.

TPR is my home page and I check the forum at least 1-2 times a day.

 

I love PTRs and news bullitens, but my FAVORITE thing on the TPR forums is anything to do with Japan!

As I tend to have a lot of free time on my hands here in Nashville, I tend to frequent the boards quite a bit during the day. I will usualy browse the boards once in the morning and once in the night. Then throught the day I will check in on the topics that I get reminders of that I am watching.

 

I love the TRs. Especialy if it's someone I know. I will usualy pass over TR that have no pictures. I realy love it when people take the time to create a story around their TRs. It makes it that much more entertaining to watch.

 

One of my favorite threads is Jahan's 6FMM ongoing update thread. As that is what I consider my home park, I love getting the skinny on what is going on over there.

 

I always check out the newest on ride stuff. I think this site has the highest quality of professionally video taped coaster footage.

I visit multiple times a day, usually in the afternoon after school and throughout the night when I need breaks from problem sets.

It really depends on the subject of the topic. If its an announcement of a new ride I'll just read the post that has the announcement since thats the only really important part of the post. On some of the discussion pages I'll read a few pages or even all of the topic if it isn't a small novel.

I'll usually read most of the PTR's of parks I haven't seen in a while, though sometimes there are floods of a certain park. Announcement and rumor threads are always good and sometimes the is this ride type possible lead to a lot of fun.

I've played tic-tac-toe a few times, I've gone through some of the main site photos.

It depends on the day and how much work I have. I can visit several times a day if I'm doing something that lends itself to procrastination, on the other hand I can easily go several days without a visit at all.

Generally only certain topics, I never really plunge into the older pages.

I read largely depending on people who post. For example, if it is somebody from back in the days of RRC, I'm more likely to read their post. I know I should read all topics, but I'm typically limited on time, so I only read the authors whom I like.

Normally start off with the main page. Then go onto Donkeys, Ask Alvey & Random. Only check the Game page every so often.

I used to check 2-3 times a day, but since I started University i only get on every 2 days if i'm lucky.

Normally just check from last time I was on or if I am bored and have some spare time I check the older pages

I try and read all Photo TR's but I normally skip TR's. I normally read topics about parks I know or ones i'm interested in. Topics that are started by members I know and ones where the Subject sounds big.

I used to try and use the chat room a lot but at the times I log in it seems not many people use it.

I start with the super secret trip board, then I move to the Coasters&Donkeys and if I've nothing to do I check the Random one and Games one.

I visit about every 2 or 3 days, check the Coaster/Park forum to see if there are any new interesting threads. Check the other forums (Random -the most, Games - the least).

 

Rarely do I visit any of the ones below the 5 main forums (I don't attend events, and I have no desire to be in the "in" crowd - no offense to anyone who does).

 

I post when I get the urge....which is rare (unless I've been drinking)...

I look for posts about where people went this year, where they plan on going, what is their top 5 parks, what is their top 5 coasters, etc. What I don't like is 40 pictures of the same people riding the same coaster or people guessing about something that might happen. I like hearing about a person's opinion about a ride or park. Is there a place on here where rides and parks are rated and there is some kind of graph of that ?

I tend to agree. I like to hear opinions, reviews, polls, etc. People on this site obviously have a wealth of knowledge and experience. I just prefer to talk about things that are of interest to the general park-visitor, not what kind of axle grease the cars on the Screamy Meamy has. And I like to look at park pics of rides and scenery, not pictures of two 20-something guys drinking Belgian beer and pretending to French kiss each other!

 

But hey, I'm just one old dude.
