downunder
The worst: Nitro - people don't seem to understand left side of the stairs for the front and right for all other rows, surely they could put up a rail or an electrified fence. Magnum - when they don't have someone controlling entry at the turnstile, it's just pandemonium but it does make it easier because the people for the front cover up the 3rd row aka ejector seat. The best: Riddlers Revenge - I like it, as soon as you get through the turnsile all the rows are railed off which keeps it nice and organised. Scaparri
Best: I'll say Superman Ultimate Flight at SFOG. Nice and simple. Nice views of the ride and parts of the park. Worst: Raptor. One giant rectangle of queues. On top of that, the blocks of queues within the giant rectangle are random and go various directions.

Red Benny
Best: Buzz Lightyear's Astro Blasters at DLR - The sign said a 30 minute wait, but the queue is so efficient at loading people that you almost don't get enough time to enjoy the wonderfully themed queue. Worst: Storm Runner - Everyone stands in one line, even though you can choose which row you want to sit in. Once you make it down the stairs you can almost walk right onto the train. It makes you wonder why everyone is waiting so long since the lines are very short for the front cars.
robbalvey
See, I actually think that Riddler's is one of the WORST queues. The way it is designed it's almost impossible to ride anywhere near the front. Since there are no switch backs in the queue building and the line dumps out from the top of the stairs into the queue building towards the back of the train in a 'tapered' fashion and that makes the rows longer towards the front, and shorter towards the back. Because people are "sheep" they just stand in whatever line is in front of them, making the front line when it is full about 20 trains long, 2nd row 18 trains, 3rd row 16 trains, and so on and so on. Luckily since the last two rows are RIGHT NEXT to the entrance turnstiles, those rows usually only have a 2 to 3 train wait. I really hate it, because I really like this ride towards the front MUCH better. But the way they have designed the queue house, it's impossible to ride anywhere near the front without a long wait. Anyone who has been inside Riddler's queue knows EXACTLY what I mean. And this, I feel that Riddler's has one of the worst designed queues ever! --Robb "I wish I could find a picture of this!" USRoadTripper
The worst I can think of on short notice is X-Flight at Geauga Lake. It is normal queue up until the stairs up to the station. Then there is this one legth of queue blocking you, so you have to walk all the way down to your left, then all the way back, then up the steps. Of course this made every single person jump over or under the queue to avoid the completely unneccessary long walk out of the way. Not sure why they don't just open it up and put a chain there to block it off if the extra queue is needed. Best queue - Dueling Dragons for theming and simplicity, and Space Mountain for air conditioning! -Julie
SLUSHIE
See, I actually think that Riddler's is one of the WORST queues. I was thinking that too. I don't think I've ever rode near the front because of that.
nannerdw
Worst: Waiting for an hour and a half just inside the warehouse of doom for Batman: The Ride @ SFOG was the worst queue ever. Every time I wait in that queue, if I see the warehouse part open, I will not ride, because that means waiting for 2 hours in a crowded, disgusting room. When that part of the queue is closed off, I know to expect a 25-30 minute wait. Best: Space Mountain @ Disney World. It's just really cool, Especially since I didn't have to wait in it because of my fastpass.
Stitch
Best Dr. Doom's Fear Fall The Amazing Adventures of Spiderman Dueling Dragons Worst Drop Zone (PKI) - for anyone that gets claustrophobic or anxious in large groups of people this queue is hell. I love Drop Zone but due to my mental illnesses I have had to leave the ride because of the queue. It is just a big rectangle of queue lines and they are only about two and a half feet wide

Token Yankee Guy
Best: Kingda Ka at SFGAdv, with the help of security, they keep a steady flow of patrons and direct them to each train in an orderly fashion, it isn't one big mob. Plus with the FastLane entrance, it dumps you off at one train only so you don't have to wait long. Worst: Cyclone at SFNE Well, the queue is fine in the switchback area, but after you go up the bridge and pass the turnstile, it's just a mob since the bridge drops you off at the first row, so it's a wait to get to the other rows where no people are waiting Storm Runner at HP Someone else mentioned Storm Runner, and I agree, having people mob in the center of the station isn't fun. At least the Front Row has it's own queue.
CoasterFanatic
See, I actually think that Riddler's is one of the WORST queues. The way it is designed it's almost impossible to ride anywhere near the front. Totally agreed. That que is horrible. Nothing quite like being sardine canned in with a thousand people in a dark room. If I were a pickpocket, I would live here. Also, the queues are so long that if you ever hoped to ride in the same train as your friends ... it will never happen. My favorite queues are the ones with nobody in them.
chauncey
I think Montu's queue is the most organised. There's nothing special about it, but, of all the queues I've seen, it's the one which works best. Everything is clearly laid out, everybody knows what to do, and where to go, and they never have any trouble! No confusion, no crowding, no pushing, no line jumping, no problems of any kind. I can't think of any other queue where that's true!

DerekRx
Best: Incredible Hulk. Nice long front seat queue, the rest of the rows dump you off right in the middle. Even without an op there directing you, its easy to get the row you want without too much cramming (of course, since it is Florida, people get confused and NEED to be told to pick a row) Worst: Batman: Dark Knight at SFNE. Each row can hold 4 riders, but each row queue can only hold 2 riders. WTF?!
ParkTrips
Superman at Darien Lake. Its small and the way everyone enters near the back, the back becomes a mess while many seats near the front go empty Same with Storm Runner and I want to say Nitro... just a mess of people :? Cerberus
Best: The original layout of the Disneyland Paris 'Space Mountain' when it first opened. It never once went back on itself unless the queue was horrifically long. You had all the interesting sections to queue through including: Outside view of the lauching trains, inside tunnel with viewing windows into the ride action, view section of the themed brake section, pre-show room with video and intricate theming, raised walkway over the vast station. It was really interesting and the atmosphere in the station with all those people watching from above was awesome! Worst: Rita at Alton Towers. Recently Tussards have been doing a great job making their queues do more than just cattlepens... Then they seemed to just give up. The sight of the sprawling mass of splinter-giving fences is enough to drain the spirit from even the happiest park goer. The worst part is the oh-so-clever idea of being able to shorter/lengthen this queue by means of swivel panels throughout it's length... Except these are rarely set in sync with each other and guests are often sent around in circle or back along paths to dead-ends.. urgh Cerberus
RaptorBoyASU
Best: Dueling Dragons for pure aesthetics Mantis because I love any queue where the coaster is constantly surrounding you. Worst: Riddler's Revenge. I've never even considered riding up front because of the wait. Viper at SFMM: I'm always hopping over railings because they split the line into front/middle/back before the stairs.

Had no idea how long there was to go and where we were goinging next. Those swivel panels were lethal as well. A lot of them weren't locked (or had any means of bbeing locked) and people leaned against them and nearly went flying. Plus not sure if this is just a personal thing but the Ice Cream hut in the middle wasn't set back from the queue at all so any family making a long decision and a large purpose held up everyone behind them. Doesn't really make a difference time wise but its pyschological torture seeing a massive gap opening up in front. Finally, the end of the queue being right next to an open area seemed to make it easy for people to attmept a massive queue jump.
4718
At SFMM: Riddler: Meh, don't like the way that ride wears out your legs anyway. Music sucks too, I'd rather just avoid that ride altogether. Goliath: Decent, I guess, but sucks if there's no line and you have to hoof it to the front. Batman: Used to be really cool and kind of immersive, but then I moved on to High School. Scream: Probably best capacity and easiest line to understand, but I'm ready to start decking people if the techno is playing. Colossus: Not too bad, simple switchback style for the most part, moves really slow if the line is out of the station. Flashback: Went on it once when I was 9, not stupid enough to ever do it again. Psyclone: Stairs, but not that bad. Generally short because of the infamous nature of the ride. Deja Vu: Horrid. No themeing, ugly handrails randomly curving through a barely landscaped area, then get dumped into one of the most conveluded stations ever. Why did Vekoma have to do the offset seating crap when B&M 4 across rows would have been fine? Just hope there's someone grouping people as the go in, but even then, don't get your hopes up. X: I'll go up the exit and get on early through a friend, but otherwise not that bad. The the split station adds confusion, but a bouncer or grouper at the entrance to the station helps a lot. Viper: Been a while, but sum it up as "meh." Ninja: Darn that hill climb, hope the lines not too long, and it'll be okay. Superman: Somewhat themed, but needs some help. I always go for the back of the car lines because they're the shortest. Revolution: Old school, not much creativity, but gets the job done and is quaint. YoshiFan
Best - Space Mountain at WDW. It's easy to follow since there aren't any switchbacks until the end and it's cool inside the building Worst - Rebel Yell at PKD, the queue is way too long. It takes forever to walk through it because there is never a wait out of the station. Laser at Dorney Park, not being able to pick your row when there is a full train is bad enough but they won't even let you pick your row at all even if the train is 1/2 full. I know it's a portable coaster but considering it has been there for almost 20 years, they should have designed a better queue and station for the ride. CoasterFanatic
Space Mountain at WDW. It's easy to follow since there aren't any switchbacks until the end and it's cool inside the building I have never seen them use more than one "switchback" ever since the advent of FastPass. Why do they make people wait in the blistering Florida heat when there is more than enough room inside. This alone would cause me to give it lower marks. Blazen_AZN
ok, now its my turn to rate all the knotts/SFMM lines Knotts Xcelorator, ok, im not sure if this is the lines fault, or the rides, but, dangit, the train doesnt line up with the airgates, you are actually closer to the seats ahead of you then you are your own seats. and they have that stupid yellow line... if you dont want us that close, then why are the airgates 3 feet ahead of us? Ghostrider i like the que, its themed, i guess, and you always see hyper kids trip on the stairs when they make a run to the top floor, i find that funny. Jaguar oooh, i would say i like this que, until i had an incident with the wall! i was one of those hyper kids RUNNING to the station area (quite a while ago), and BANG, i hit my head on a rock jetting from the walls, and, boy did that hurt. other then that, from the outside, it looks great. Perolious plunge sloooooooow and wet Montezuma revenge no line = good line SFMM X its okay, never really noticed it that much, usually just trying to catch my breath from sprinting there when the park opens. DejaVu typical que... but with a single riders line Riddlers Revenge My first trip, i hated it, too corwded. during the summer, however, it becomes one of the best, because they let in people in groups, so there isnt many people in the station, yeah, strobe lights and techno can get annoying after awhile, but its a nice touch when your in there a few minutes. Batman I like it, nice landscaping and theming, and also moves quik, nice station also. Scream this line had a line? wow, i didnt even realize it did! considering the ride is ALWAYS a walk on. but i noticed how efficent this ride really is, when i got on the ride, the station wasnt even full, but it broke down for a few minutes and we got stuck on the final brakes, when we finally got off the line was huuuge, they were backed up before you even got to the lockers! Goliath nicley themed with the ruined statue and such, nicely misted, (or sprayed, depending on where you are ) it also has a nicly orginized station Superman my favorite que... ever. this line is so awsome that people are in there that arn't even in line for the ride! why? two words, ice theming. they blast in the cold air form these giant vents in the ceiling, and when it gets as hot as it does at SFMM, it is a NICE treat, and the fact that you can hear, but cant see, the launching of the trains builds suspense, because there are automatic, metal doors (elevator style, i guess) blocking you view Ninja im an asian boy, so what can i say? i love it Viper nice, well styled building, mexican style! too bad my only time ever riding this I had to wait next to a pile of throwup, that reminds me, the lines are narrrow too, you cant get to the front to tell someone someone has thrown up, so we had to wait it out until we got to the front. collosus meh, nothing special just a line revolution i like it, i dont believe it was themed when it was built, but now it seems to be built to seem old fashoned, with brass light fixtures hanging from the walls, arched windows, and stucco (i think) ok, moving on! best: SUPERMAN Worst: deja vu
momo1tx
Best Q's: Hulk and DD, no doubt. Worst Q: S:ROS at SFA, the gates never line up with the car. It's annoying to have the people from the row in front of you take your spot, leaving you waiting another train, which is a good three minutes at SFA.
