jlp94 Posted April 6, 2019 Posted April 6, 2019 Looks like this is going to start the 2010-2013 debate again... is this coaster wood or steel?
A.J. Posted April 8, 2019 Posted April 8, 2019 Energylandia has released a new drone footage video showing just how packed the park is now:
Nrthwnd Posted April 8, 2019 Posted April 8, 2019 ^Great video! Awesome drone footage! And the soundtrack worked really well with it, too.
boldikus Posted May 4, 2019 Posted May 4, 2019 This sweet pic popped into my Facebook feed, apparently from a page called Fomo Coasters.
CatraBiNAS Posted May 23, 2019 Posted May 23, 2019 From Fomocoaster Facebook all coasters open in 2020?
oriolat Posted May 25, 2019 Posted May 25, 2019 Zadra looks Europe's Hagukei/Steel Vengeance! The rate at which this park is expanding is just insane. I wonder what will happen when the EU cut their funding...
KarlaKoaster Posted May 25, 2019 Posted May 25, 2019 I like that the park aren't just plonking the rides in a field, it looks like they are really improving the whole environment of the park too.
jedimaster1227 Posted May 27, 2019 Posted May 27, 2019 I really can't get over how fast this park has expanded and added world-class coaster after coaster! Zadra looks like it'll be another insane RMC... If ever I would be going to Poland, I wouldn't miss this park.
RollerManic Posted May 27, 2019 Posted May 27, 2019 If ever I would be going to Poland, I wouldn't miss this park. I think this park might be the reason I even ever go to Poland now. (No offense, but there’s already a lot of historical stuff to see and things to do in Europe elsewhere)
Dombot Posted May 27, 2019 Posted May 27, 2019 Not gonna lie, that Vekoma junior coaster caught my eye before the Zadra construction did. I have a soft spot for the custom Junior coaster layouts, and this one actually looks like stupid fun. I'm a bad enthusiast.
WolfBobs Posted May 28, 2019 Posted May 28, 2019 If ever I would be going to Poland, I wouldn't miss this park. I think this park might be the reason I even ever go to Poland now. (No offense, but there’s already a lot of historical stuff to see and things to do in Europe elsewhere) Not to get weird or morbid but this park is very close to Auschwitz (since you mentioned historical sites). They're about 35 minutes apart from each other. Definitely worth the trip to check that out as well. It's a haunting experience and not for everyone but I do recommend going if you're into historical sites.

I may add that if you do wind up doing both, I would do them on different days (or at least have several hours between being at the two places) if I were you, as visiting both on the same day would (at least for me) kinda feel wrong.
mark549 Posted May 28, 2019 Posted May 28, 2019 I noticed that proximity, too. I have read enough about Auschwitz (and have heard a survivor in person) that I would have to visit. But I feel riding the RMC and Intamin would be better after the Auschwitz tour, not before, and not the same day (for logistical and emotional reasons), at least for me.
mark549 Posted July 8, 2019 Posted July 8, 2019 LOTS of photos of Zadra RMC, taken July 7, 2019 I don't know the poster but the photos are great. https://www.skyscrapercity.com/showthread.php?s=d0cc464ea23d9140ebe26edfb100da95&p=160510030#post160510030
Nrthwnd Posted July 10, 2019 Posted July 10, 2019 ^^ That lift hill setup (first photo) looks like a glorious cathedral of some kind. Very impressive.
Stonem Posted July 21, 2019 Posted July 21, 2019 According to rcdb.com, Zadra will open on August 15 2019. The New area with the two kiddie coasters already opened so we just have to wait for Zadra
Canobie Coaster Posted July 21, 2019 Posted July 21, 2019 The fact they may get this open a year early even after it partially collapsed is impressive.
Nrthwnd Posted July 21, 2019 Posted July 21, 2019 That first shot would make a beautiful Desktop Background!
mark549 Posted July 22, 2019 Posted July 22, 2019 Track work on Zadra is almost done, according to https://www.facebook.com/fomocoaster/ New photos at that site. Looks like the only remaining part to install is between the bottom of the second drop and the rise up into the stall, although there are probably other finishing touches remaining. This is what Goliath (Chicago) wanted to be.
mark549 Posted July 29, 2019 Posted July 29, 2019 Photos of the completed track from https://www.facebook.com/fomocoaster/ Many more photos at that site.
Condor Posted July 29, 2019 Posted July 29, 2019 What I like about Zadra so far is that it appears to have a great "narrative" flow from element to element, something that's tougher to pull off on the converted i-boxes. Really excited to see the POV of this. Could be one of RMC's best.
