grsupercity Posted September 15, 2014 Posted September 15, 2014 I know we already have a what was your first B&M coaster thread, but I thought it would be fun to see what peoples first Intamin coaster was. Being that they are the ford vs chevy in terms of coaster greats!
CPmillenia94 Posted September 15, 2014 Posted September 15, 2014 Volcano: the Blast Coaster, that launch into that turn was great first impression after growing up at BGW with only B&M
rcjp Posted September 15, 2014 Posted September 15, 2014 My first was indiana jones et le temple du péril at Disneyland Paris. Not terrible but not as good as the others I've now ridden.
RaceBoarder Posted September 15, 2014 Posted September 15, 2014 American Eagle at SFGAm for me as well...
agerikson Posted September 15, 2014 Posted September 15, 2014 Bob Track, an Intamin bobsled at Efteling in the Netherlands when I was 7.
SingleRiderCam Posted September 15, 2014 Posted September 15, 2014 Xcelerator @ Knott's Berry Farm. It's also my favorite Intamin coaster.
firewalk13 Posted September 15, 2014 Posted September 15, 2014 Disaster Transport, when the theming was still new/working.
aCoasterStory Posted September 15, 2014 Posted September 15, 2014 Actually had to think about it for a while. I knew I rode TTD in 2006, but then I remembered I rode SFA's S:ROS a couple years prior.
YoshiCraft2011 Posted September 15, 2014 Posted September 15, 2014 Xcelerator at Knott's. It's an amazing coaster! The launch was fast and the train just soared through the pink track.
MagnumFreak25 Posted September 15, 2014 Posted September 15, 2014 Disaster Transport with most of the scenery working, plus i got a lights on ride which looked really cool.
boldikus Posted September 15, 2014 Posted September 15, 2014 lol i had to think about this but it was Skull Mountain, SFGAdv
DJeXeL Posted September 15, 2014 Posted September 15, 2014 Woodstock's Express aka Blue Streak @ CGA was truly my 1st. Â First "Major" Intamin was Superman: The Escape @ SFMM.
XYZ Posted September 15, 2014 Posted September 15, 2014 CGA's Woodstock Express. Which is also my first coaster ever.
Sneaky Posted September 15, 2014 Posted September 15, 2014 For me it's Goliath, Walibi Holland. Great ride.
cwgator Posted September 16, 2014 Posted September 16, 2014 Volcano: The Blast Coaster was my first. It was the only one I had ridden until Cheetah Hunt opened up at BGT. For some reason there aren't that many in the southeastern US so that's why I've been so limited.
