2012jarrett Posted October 26, 2013 Posted October 26, 2013 Don't remind me, I get to get on this thing next year probably... Anybody recommend a specific pain reliever? Tylenol? Ibuprofen? Aspirin?
SuperShawn Posted October 26, 2013 Posted October 26, 2013 Stayed at NY NY on one of my last visits with the ex. We had a room overlooking the second drop and I just laughed at the people riding it, until the ex said he needed to ride it... The stupid things we do for significant others....
gerstlaueringvar Posted October 26, 2013 Posted October 26, 2013 Now THAT's the reason people hate TOGO... Seriously see the drop towards the loop! The bump is much bigger than Goudurix! But I still need the credit sadly.
GnastyGnoric7 Posted October 26, 2013 Posted October 26, 2013 I'd rather have a tooth pulled than ride this piece of steel junk
robbalvey Posted October 26, 2013 Author Posted October 26, 2013 This one is doing much better! Need only about 10 more posts!
Nrthwnd Posted October 26, 2013 Posted October 26, 2013 I'd rather have a tooth pulled than ride this piece of steel junk Funny you should mention that. Earlier this afternoon... But now that the tooth is out, I'd still (sadly) have to compare, LOL.
BelizeIt Posted October 26, 2013 Posted October 26, 2013 Apparently a trip to Vegas can be painful on ones backside........In this case, what happened in Vegas didn't stay in Vegas!
805Andrew Posted October 26, 2013 Posted October 26, 2013 I rode this in the Spring of 2010 and my ride wasn't bad at all. I rode with a friend in the front row at night, while another friend declined to go being on it once before. Maybe we got lucky with our ride, but I heard this ride was modified in certain parts at one point. Was this video taken before or after the modification? Also I agree the $14 ride cost is outrageous and I am surprised that many people fork over the dough without flinching. I had printed $4 off coupons online, so our ride cost was $10 each which was slightly less outrageous.
jokey Posted October 26, 2013 Posted October 26, 2013 Is it even legal to have a coaster that bad?!? My back hurts just looking at those transitions
Willhlikeschicken Posted October 26, 2013 Posted October 26, 2013 I'm guessing that this is one of those rides that only a handful of people have decided to go on again.
frozenflames Posted October 26, 2013 Posted October 26, 2013 I still think it's funny/scary that there are more bleeps than not in the commentary. Seriously, this video should just be shown to coaster manufacturers as an example of what shouldn't come out of a rider's mouth. Even if I do ever get out to Vegas, I don't think I'm THAT much of a credit junkie to actually try riding this thing.
Nrthwnd Posted October 26, 2013 Posted October 26, 2013 Part of this would be great for a headache meds commercial.... "You know Life has it's Ups and Downs - But it doesn't have to be that PAINful..."
yay101 Posted October 26, 2013 Posted October 26, 2013 Owwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww I don't think I will ever ride that ride anytime soon...
cmullin Posted October 27, 2013 Posted October 27, 2013 Beat the crap out of me when I rode it. They should pay me $14 to ride instead of me paying them $14.
Cyrbuzz Posted October 28, 2013 Posted October 28, 2013 If Hell were a roller coaster this one would be it. I think I burst a blood vessel in my brain from just watching this video. Somewhere out there there's a scrap yard just knawing at the bit to welcome this coaster to it's humble abode.
djboss302 Posted October 29, 2013 Posted October 29, 2013 Someone would have to pay me $150 to ride that piece of crap. Heck, I would rather have 20 cavity fillings than ride that thing just once.
FreeFaller Posted October 29, 2013 Posted October 29, 2013 A big city and a roller coaster? Life can be so good!
AsianSensation Posted October 30, 2013 Posted October 30, 2013 I'm going to Las Vegas soon. Should I ride Manhattan Express just for torture?
Moose Posted October 30, 2013 Posted October 30, 2013 ^I would, but then again, I waited in line an hour for Goudrix just so I could experience it.
GnastyGnoric7 Posted October 30, 2013 Posted October 30, 2013 This coaster makes working in a dish room not suck
Blue Turbo Posted October 30, 2013 Posted October 30, 2013 I got the credit a few years back, and will newer ride it again.
TheBeastHelix Posted October 30, 2013 Posted October 30, 2013 I have been there once and that was when I was in Kindergarden- so I was too small to ride. I remember begging my dad to let me ride it with him.
DougMJr Posted October 31, 2013 Posted October 31, 2013 I can't believe I paid $14 to get the shit kicked out of me. I was so credit hungry at that point in my life that I think it is safe to say I was the biggest whore in Vegas, which is saying something.
JimmyBo Posted November 5, 2013 Posted November 5, 2013 That ride was rougher than the whore I hired in Vegas last time I went there…and the whores in Vegas are ROUGH!!!
cfc Posted November 5, 2013 Posted November 5, 2013 ^Jimmy deserves a Bag of Crap for that post alone.
