coastermaniac Posted September 10, 2006 Posted September 10, 2006 Pretty much in the back of any wooden roller coaster.
the sound Posted September 10, 2006 Posted September 10, 2006 The most rough roller-coaster I've been on is Lethal Weapon at Movie World Australia (Vekoma SLC). I say Remove the blue train and only have red train as it is smooth. But I've only been on 18 coasters so I'm an enthusiast in training  Funny that you say that. A lot of people say its smooth, others don't. I'm pretty sure i was in the Red Train, as i didn't get any headbanging  Oh yeah, my roughest coaster.  This would probably go to my local Galaxi, or the GOudrix.
Adriel Posted September 11, 2006 Posted September 11, 2006 I have just back from the local theme park, Escape. I rode Alpha 8, an indoor wild mouse which is totally pitch black with no effects at all. This is even rougher than Treaak! Really bumpy ad jerky and most of all rough, very rough. I was thrown away to the left and right. The guy beside me seemed almost fall from the car! The waiting time is 60 minutes since it only operates 2 cars! Now that's what I also called ANTIQUE!
mister myagi Posted September 14, 2006 Posted September 14, 2006 el condor in walibi world, real vekoma roughness
Myst3Exile Posted September 28, 2006 Posted September 28, 2006 The roughest coaster i've ever been on was Tornado at M&D's in Scotland. It was HORRIBLE. The OTSR was way to tight and crammed your arms to the side of the car which really hurt when the car jostled around. Also it grabbed your head and repeatedly slammed it into the restraint back and forth for the WHOLE ride. Then again i've only ever ridden 5 coasters so far but still...
cazz0069 Posted September 29, 2006 Posted September 29, 2006 Australians will remember `The Thunderbolt` at Dreamworld..that was a shocker!! (thankfully this has since been pulled down and `cylcone` has been added) I thought Space Mountain At Disneyland Paris was pretty rough too.
Sasquatch Posted October 2, 2006 Posted October 2, 2006 What is cyclone like? I had no idea it was at Sydney before
cazz0069 Posted October 2, 2006 Posted October 2, 2006 Cyclone used to be the `Big Dipper` at Sydneys Luna Park.I actually found it quite tame. Not a huge amount of air time (although we were sitting in the middle) I also found it frustrating that the staff who were running it the day we were there must have been really slow because it was literally taking about 10 minutes per ride.Overall it wasnt bad but i wouldnt rave
cazz0069 Posted October 3, 2006 Posted October 3, 2006 i also notice your from the UK.whats your favourite coaster there? I was there in 98 just after they added Oblivion at Alton Towers. That was pretty kewl for its time.Nemesis was also crazy I also went to Blackpool but the `Big one` was closed due to high wind..gotta hate that
Phobia Posted October 4, 2006 Posted October 4, 2006 i havnt been on many coasters so.. 1. Cyclone SFNE 2. Mind Eraser SFNE 3. Corkscrew CLP
RNRC Posted October 26, 2006 Posted October 26, 2006 Corkscrew at Alton Towers was an unpleasantly rough experience.
DallasAlvey Posted October 29, 2006 Posted October 29, 2006 1.Manhatten Express 2.Flashback at SFMM 3.Texas Gaint at SFOT 4.Cyclone at SFMM 5.GhostRider at KBF I was on GhostRider last night it was fun but still very rough.
brossa Posted October 31, 2006 Posted October 31, 2006 1. Doubtless Goudurix! On my both visits at Parc Asterix I felt my pulse in my head after it.  2. Ultimate (Lightwater Valley). I think everybody who has ridden this coaster knows what I mean . But it´s still a funny coaster!
the sound Posted November 3, 2006 Posted November 3, 2006 I've changed mine after consideration. Â It is no longer Goudrix, it is now Scenic Railway. Fun! But very rough.
stormrunner_grrl9996 Posted November 4, 2006 Posted November 4, 2006 J3 at Clementon Amusement park was so rough, my mom has sworn off all wooden coasters!
IceDragon Posted November 14, 2006 Posted November 14, 2006 Corkscrew, AT. its a pain everywhere except the a$$... scary as hell too, especially with loose restraints... *shudders* Â Vampire, CwoA. Gah! cant stand it!!! 45mph round a corner and a failure of an airtime hill (invert airtime doesnt work) which pumps like hell, swinging from side to side rapidly doesnt make it any better. It shouldve been an inverted looper or something, but without loops... Â Colossus, TP. Ever been in a moshpit? This machine is 100x worse!!! the cobra roll after the dive under the shop is sooo painful, letalone the limb back into the corkscrews. Could they not make it so you go up the hill which immediately converts into a corkscrew without levelling out?
jason10 Posted November 15, 2006 Posted November 15, 2006 What coaster hurt your head the most? That is the question. Post the name of the coaster that really hurt your head the most! Lets kick it off with mine. Collosus at Thorpe Park. Man that hurt!
FLIPDUDE Posted November 15, 2006 Posted November 15, 2006 Batman the ride at SFMM and Deja Vu at SFMM. Â both are very big ows.
RayOfLight Posted November 15, 2006 Posted November 15, 2006 Defnately BTR at SFMM. Not because of banging...
Fry Posted November 15, 2006 Posted November 15, 2006 El Condor at Walibi World. Â Â Two words: First SLC.
jason10 Posted November 15, 2006 Posted November 15, 2006 Sorry! Didn't realise this was already a topic. Sorry! But what happened? My topic joined this one!!! Can anyone tell me.
