Midgetman82
If at least once in your lifetime, someone who traveled with you to a park somewhere had to ask "how do you find these places?!" True story, happened when I traveled from Miami to visit Rapids Water Park.

Kemotblue01
If you watch so many POVs so many times that you have no idea how it would be to ride a coaster without knowing its layout first. Â SO true..... LOL
Voyager6442
You might be a coaster nerd if you read in one place that the Voyage is 6,422 feet long and in another place that it's 6,442 feet long, so you e-mail Holiday World to ask them which one is right. (6,442 is right.)
rcjp
If a few years ago when you heard some wooden coasters making that screeching metallic noise you thought: this sounds like a train. And now it's the other way round: you hear a train doing that and think it sounds like some wooden coasters.
gerstlaueringvar
If you watch so many POVs so many times that you have no idea how it would be to ride a coaster without knowing its layout first. Totally! That's one of the reasons why I never had head banging issues on Arrows because those layouts are already deep in my mind that I know exactly where the rough spots are at. Sure that indeed took away some exitement. Â If you pull down the restraint and buckle up the seat belt of the empty seat next to you to help the ride op to speed up the safety check. It kind of became my habit.

Kyle Coleman
You might be a coaster nerd if your idea of a perfect day at Holiday World includes 2+ hours with the Coaster Cats. During this years holliwood nights event they had a bunch of them hanging out with us at dinner on Saturday night. Awesome guys and you could ask them anything about the coasters and they would answer. Also had the nice lady who was in charge of the waterpark eating dinner across from me for about an hour. BugEyed
You might be a coaster nerd if you go out of town for a family funeral, and on the way home you drive 460 miles out of your way to ride Boardwalk Bullet. That's awesome because I did that; except it was a wedding and only 288 miles. Â Which coaster? Boardwalk Bullet. It was the first season of NTAG and I couldn't imagine being in Texas without riding both so I drove between the two (somewhat unexpectedly) <-- but that's a whole other story. Â Anyway, my family thought I was nuts. Edited August 29, 2014 by BugEyed

You just didn't sleep period, fueled on cafine, and pure adrenaline. Â Bonus, you were on the east side of North America, therefore, had to stay up till 5:00am.
