Chrisrad Posted February 28, 2011 Posted February 28, 2011 Just when I thought things couldn't get any better, I've been proven wrong! TPR never disappoints!
JJ728 Posted February 28, 2011 Posted February 28, 2011 Was just staring at my March calendar, thinking to myself "Is it West Coast Bash yet?" and I was excited thinking about that special day of March 19th. ...then this post popped up... All I can say is I jumped out of my skin!!!! I CAN'T WAIT FOR WCB!!!!
jray21 Posted February 28, 2011 Posted February 28, 2011 Awesome news Robb! Thanks for all your incredible work!
XII Posted February 28, 2011 Posted February 28, 2011 Westcoast Bash has once again, outdid itself. Every time I think it's as good as it gets, it gets even better.
STR8FXXXINEDGE Posted February 28, 2011 Posted February 28, 2011 So bummed I can't make it for all of this awesomeness! Now that that I've somewhat got all my financial garbage under control, I'm keeping my fingers crossed for next year.
Gmaster562 Posted February 28, 2011 Posted February 28, 2011 WOO! I'm so excited! I'm hearing great things about this event! I'm so excited, i'm getting into my withdrawals where I do nothing but watch coaster videos all day!
RoCo Posted February 28, 2011 Posted February 28, 2011 The Win Fairy just smacked me upside the head with her wand and I'm feeling mighty fine.
ZipityDoDog Posted February 28, 2011 Posted February 28, 2011 I noticed this on the Events page at SFMM: Coaster Enthusiast Day Seasonal 3/19 Are you addicted to “The Roller Coaster Rush?” Join us at Six Flags Magic Mountain on Saturday, March 19, 2011 for Coaster Enthusiast Day. Exclusive Early Rider Time (ERT) starts at 8:30am and the ticket includes Park Admission, two meals, free parking, PLUS MORE! Limited quantity available. Call (661) 255-4806 for details.
Chrisrad Posted February 28, 2011 Posted February 28, 2011 ^ I think it was discussed a few pages back, or it was discussed in the official SFMM thread. It won't affect attendance that much - how many enthusiasts are out there (in the area) that are not already going to WCB? Also, how many members of the GP actually check SFMM's website calendar of events? TPR's events are beyond amazing - even if you were to cut the ERT coaster count in half, and add about 100 more people (compared to last year), you'd still get more than enough rides on the big coasters. Nothing to fret over. One thing I did just notice though - it's only listing morning ERT for the SFMM-sponsored event - I'm guessing they won't have any nighttime ERT?
Ace Of Spades Posted February 28, 2011 Posted February 28, 2011 Yeah, this has been discussed to death already. That event will not have any serious effect on WCB, SFMM wouldn't let that happen considering everything else they're doing to make WCB so amazing this year! *Wonders if I should put this post in bold so that this doesn't crop again...* Also, currently hoping like hell that I can make it this year.
ZipityDoDog Posted February 28, 2011 Posted February 28, 2011 ^ Your right, I found it quite a few pages in. Not as black and blue as some topics, but I'll stop beating the dead " insert your animal here " now.
weathers Posted March 1, 2011 Posted March 1, 2011 OH MY GOD THAT SOUNDS AWESOME Wow what a fantastic first tpr event to anticipate
DCody Posted March 1, 2011 Posted March 1, 2011 I've really never gotten in any night rides at SFMM, save for one or two rushed runs-- I CANNOT WAIT FOR WCB!!!!!
fatdaddy Posted March 1, 2011 Posted March 1, 2011 ^^Gold Rusher and Revolution are great night rides that shouldn't be passed over.
Gmaster562 Posted March 1, 2011 Posted March 1, 2011 ^Dont forget ninja and tatsu! Those are a must at night. I never leave without a night ride on those rides.
chickenbowl Posted March 1, 2011 Posted March 1, 2011 ^ And don't forget the night-time view from Goliath. Apocalypse is also a great night-ride. The overall experience from riding a coaster at night is just so different and awesome!
