PixelRush Posted March 8, 2016 Posted March 8, 2016 I'm actually liking the theme song so much, I decided to start learning it on guitar so I can do a cover of it
gerstlaueringvar Posted March 9, 2016 Posted March 9, 2016 Not complaining about that music but I really think it's a bit too Kygo... Anyway I'm glad they put so much effort into the ride to make it outstanding. This is definitely one of the most interesting projects of the year.
pixelated85 Posted March 9, 2016 Posted March 9, 2016 I'm liking how this ride turned out- a lot. It's always nice to see a new concept come to fruition. That first drop makes me miss Thriller.
RyanTPM Posted March 9, 2016 Posted March 9, 2016 Really like the song, not sure that it fits well with the theme though, but regardless really good stuff and Lost Gravity looks brilliant with all the theming!
Nrthwnd Posted March 9, 2016 Posted March 9, 2016 ^ Ooooooooooo. And such a TINY Load/Unload Station, too!
RCT3Bross Posted March 10, 2016 Posted March 10, 2016 Thanks this really helps me to see the queue for this ride, I just hope that path near the blue bus is the single rider/fastlane queue that brings you really underneath that beautiful ride.
jedimaster1227 Posted March 14, 2016 Posted March 14, 2016 That layout looks incredible! Have we gotten any word on what the train will be like yet?
KBrylczyk Posted March 14, 2016 Posted March 14, 2016 ^ You are way behind the times. Go back a few pages. http://themeparkreview.com/forum/viewtopic.php?p=1674162#p1674162
Henry M Posted March 17, 2016 Posted March 17, 2016 New photo of the ride testing. One week to go until people can ride this new ride! As robb would say, "TWISTYYYYY!!!"
RCT3Bross Posted March 18, 2016 Posted March 18, 2016 ^That is a lovely shot. I can't wait for it to open next week, I really wish to see this onride.
BDG Posted March 21, 2016 Posted March 21, 2016 (edited) Some artwork... source: Youngworks (advertising agency) Edited March 21, 2016 by BDG
Nrthwnd Posted March 21, 2016 Posted March 21, 2016 ^The first drawing reminds me of a Car-Henge, while the second one looks very cool.
gerstlaueringvar Posted March 22, 2016 Posted March 22, 2016 So I spent some time exploring Mr. Polska's music, I actually think Move Up is my favorite. Even though two of the notes sound kind of out-of-place at the highlight part. Also found this gem:
RyanTPM Posted March 22, 2016 Posted March 22, 2016 That artwork looks good, and seems to match the real thing which is great. Looking forward to opening.
Sneaky Posted March 23, 2016 Posted March 23, 2016 New Snapchat video containing POV footage (top lift to turn after zero-G roll):
KBrylczyk Posted March 23, 2016 Posted March 23, 2016 ^ Now that's pretty. Unfortunately the POV is pretty poor what with the vertical video and choppiness, but it still gives a good idea of what weirdness is going to happen. Seems to have a lot of subtle extra twists and oddly-timed transitions, but in a good way. Can't wait to ride in a few months!
Henry M Posted March 23, 2016 Posted March 23, 2016 WOW, form the POV, it looks to have a lot of "OH MY GOD!!! Parts to it. Considering it is a 'small' ride on the big world of coasters, it looks good.
BDG Posted March 23, 2016 Posted March 23, 2016 Some higher quality on-ride video, but only the first drop and the zero-g-roll. [fbvideonew] [/fbvideonew]
RCT3Bross Posted March 23, 2016 Posted March 23, 2016 About 40 hours and I've ridden that ride. Looks great can't wait
Henry M Posted March 23, 2016 Posted March 23, 2016 About 40 hours and I've ridden that ride. Looks great can't wait Tell me what you think!
thedazza Posted March 23, 2016 Posted March 23, 2016 Here is a video with people riding it, why people still film with the phone vertical though is beyond me.
RyanTPM Posted March 23, 2016 Posted March 23, 2016 It looks really good from the POV, especially that banked top hat. Not sure what that flat turn adds before the MCBR though. Regardless, looking forward to opening!
Dar Posted March 23, 2016 Posted March 23, 2016 It looks really good from the POV, especially that banked top hat. Not sure what that flat turn adds before the MCBR though. Regardless, looking forward to opening! I'm pretty sure that turn's banked outward like on an El Loco
