Moose
I love the pic of Lou on Cyclops! Lots of great pictures Hanno! For me, this park had very few positives. Cyclops, Cheese Curds (Yum!), and People watching (Yum!)
cfc
^Maybe so, but I thought Cyclops was a one-trick pony (if you were in the backseat). The rest of the ride was just average. But it is one helluva good trick. Edited December 17, 2010 by cfc
Joe Cool
Those close up shots are just awesome to show the backrow airtime on Cyclops. You take really awesome pictures.
rollin_n_coastin
Hanno, just awesome! I thought the back seat thing was 50% truth/ 50% gimmick. Yah, uhm, 100% truth for sure. That was insane and I don't think anyone can be prepared for it, at least during the first go. I wish it wasn't overcast that day, it gave the park this dreary kind of atmosphere, which didn't help its case. All and all, the woodies were cool and that wave pool was a one-of-a-kind. For their 2012 major attraction, they should add Power Park style Go Karts.
SharkTums
^Really!? I think the majority of us were VERY happy that it was overcast and not 110 degrees that day!
Guy T. Koepp
Some of those pictures are down right frightening. I see real fear on some faces I know. Nice!
Hhappy
After Mount Olympus it was time to move on but before leaving the Dells and make our way to Valleyfair we had one more planned stop. Day 10: Timberfalls Last time i was there (07) they had a lightning strike the evening before we got there. That ride session is in the top of my all time favorite memories. Anyway, story telling is not one of my good points (especially after such a long time) so i will let the pictures do the rest of the talking. Nice little place with a mini golf course, logflume and a coaster. When in the area, don't forget to take a ride on this one Looks like we made it i'll skip that hmm, coaster just a quick look at the inside area of the park and to the left ok, looks like some people are having a great time scream gravity is a b**** random people having fun on the ride same random group of people (h)airtime and yes.. that's Hades in the background tpr members having fun full speed taking a turn on the opposite side one lap down.. one more to go smile = good ; laughter = awesome orgasmic bliss for some?? grin and yes.. it does mess up your hair next train TP looks scared 2 trains (and some air) fly by so many different expressions yeah, brake run more happy riders fits nicely all smiles = awesome ride
Hhappy
But wait, the day was not over just yet. As a surprise we made a quick stop for a bonus credit. Day 10: Knuckleheads was the place to be. This ride, i think, was hilarious looking at the reaction of people riding it. I spent time trying to get some pictures of everybody having fun (and forgot to ride it) a well.. guess i'll have to go back there someday.. enjoy yes, it really is a name of a place they all look so happy you can't hide.. it's sad and pathetic Miner Mike, a sign is always welcome it fits and the other part of the ride first riders hilarious but there was more in this place the train loading area lifthill one big blur kidtums friendly ride yeah, nice area for the kids to play for a while.. ok, time to get back on the bus and make it to the hotel

cfc
You can really tell that Avalanche-Hellcat has crazy airtime, if even my rather unimpressive patch of hair was flying around. Sure, it may surround a mini-golf course, but it beats the hell out of anything at Mt. Olympus.
cal1br3tto
There is a good reason most people kept their hands down on HellCat. And no good reason that I didn't. (Perhaps I was brain-damaged by Hades.) Enjoyed the airtime, though!
stingrock23
Loved Avalanche, that thing just flew around the track. I have great memories of getting my ride, then spending a few hours at the Mexican restaurant Pedro's nearby drinking Mug-o-ritas and running into the ride mechanics who fixed it after the lightning storm. Good times. Much thanks to these guys
