MisterP
Hey guys, haven't posted in a while. Â I love that you guys all enjoyed the City Museum so much. We're pretty proud of it here. Â Not sure if you guys know, but they actually have concerts in the front room where the stuffed sea animals are hanging (outside the caves). Â Back in June, I saw Fishbone there. It was insane. Â And they actually had burlesque dancers as an opening act (pasties over their you-know-whats ). Â It was a great night. The owners of that place are insanely cool and they apparently have been hosting occasional concerts for a few years (I didn't know until this summer). Â Anyway, good to talk to my TPR friends again. Â Now I'm off to Six Flags tonight to ride Evel Knievel in the dark...

Guy T. Koepp
Only if it's bacon wrapped, batter dipped, and deep fried. Served with a side of melted butter! Oh, if you could shove it into a zuchinni before doing so. That would be amazing.
Moose
Iamb glad you bumped this since I somehow missed this update. Great update from an absolutely miserably hot day. The park seemed like a nice place but with it as unbearably hot as it was, we just layed in the AC'd theater for quite a while. Â Looking back at the pics, I am reminded what an absolutely great group of people were on the MidAmerica trip! I want to go back!
jynx242
Thanks ever so much Hanno! As always, I love your pictures. I had a BLAST that day, but truly almost melted Those sprayers (they weren't misters - they were like garden hoses set on Shower) were lifesaving! Â D. Â City Museum = AWESOME Â I was only bruised from falling through the re-bar whale outside of the caves - and the airplanes just totally freaked me out. It was whilst crawling through those that I realized exactly what I was doing.
cfc
I missed the six-foot man eating chicken. Oh, well, . . . Â I enjoyed Six Flags St. Louis, despite the outrageous heat and humidity that day. Mr. Freeze is the best shuttle coaster this side of the old Schwarzkopf loopers, Evel Knievel is a solid GCI, and the Scooby Doo dark ride is probably the best of the bunch. Next time, I'll have to check out the water park. Â Great pictures, as usual, Hanno--thanks!
derwood
Great pictures Hanno. Glad I came to St Louis for the nonsense. Highlight of my summer! Â -daron

Hhappy
^That's what happens if you're not riding yourself but instead spent your time trying to find new (better/different) angles to get pictures of coasters and people on these rides.. Something felt so off since our last visit. It could have totally been the heat, but I remember MidWest being super hot too! Maybe it's because we were there in mid afternoon till closing originally.
