Theme park Passes Thread

Recommended Posts

I currently have a pass to Knott's Berry Farm. From about 1993 until 2005 (with a couple one-year breaks) I held a Disneyland/Disney's California Adventure pass, and I also got a pass for Universal Studios Hollywood in 2004 due to the "buy a day, get a year free" promotion when I went.

This year I've got:

Darien Lake pass

Six Flags pass from New England

Cedar Fair Platinum pass from Knott's.

Darien has paid for itself a ton, the Six Flags pass has as well. I'm working hard to get my worth out of the Cedar Fair pass. Because it had to be three times as much as the others.

The most I've ever had was in 2006/2007 when we had:

Disneyland Premium, WDW, Six Flags, Cedar Fair, Busch, Legoland, CA and Universal Hollywood

Now the only ones we have are:

Disneyland Premium (will be upgrading to the all US pass soon), Six Flags, Universal Hollywood (and will be getting Busch later this year since we plan on visiting both Busch Gardens parks next year).

All I have a Cedar Fair Platinum Pass from Canada's Wonderland. No other parks that I would frequent often are around.

Though, staff reaction at King's Island to the Canada's Wonderland pass was pretty funny this summer. It basically went "Wow...Canada! So....why in the heck did you come all the way down here?" at every store/restaurant/entrance gate.

At this point I'm down to Knott's, Sea World and Universal Hollywood. Really not going to Disney til Car's land opens, never been to Legoland and the kids don't seem to care, gonna get Six Flags passes again next year. Thing thats gonna suck is when my boy turns 3 that's gonna mean 5 passes to buy. Of course, i have passes to San Diego Zoo/Wild Animal Park, Santa Ana Zoo, and Orange Empire Railway Museum, but wouldn't consider those theme parks.

A SF pass from SFOG, and a CF Platinum Pass from Kings Island. I've been to Holiday World enough times this year to buy two season passes but I still don't have one... I also wanted to get an Indiana Beach one but I don't have money for it. I really need a job to get all 4 passes next year...

This year, I've got:

-Disneyland Resort Southern California Select Pass

-Knott's Berry Farm Season Pass

-Universal Studios Hollywood Three Day Pass (I've currently used one day, and I'll be using at least one more this summer)

Additionally, if SeaWorld San Diego is still doing the buy a day, get a year free when I visit this summer, I'll get one there as well. I had a Six Flags Magic Mountain Xtreme Pass last year, but decided not to renew since the park is 90 minutes away and I probably won't visit more than twice this year (once was WCB, and the other will be sometime after Lex Luthor opens). Also, last year I visited a bunch of Six Flags parks while I don't plan on visiting any others this year.

Currently have:

-SFMM/Six Flags Xtreme pass

-Disneyland Resort Deluxe pass

-Knott's Berry Farm pass

-Universal Hollywood pass

Not looking to get any more in the near future, as I probably won't be venturing anywhere outside of SoCal, except for the New Hotness trip.

^ I can say that I'm very jealous of that.

I've only got a CGA gold pass, I usually use it for the haunt and a few other times during the season.

I hope to get a Six Flags pass, use it for superman at SFDK and then mainly travel between San Jose and SFMM.
