hmm.. Im already ruling out a new section. a coaster would be high on my list as well as a ton of new flats. And addition for Spalshin' Safari is still in my mind but the only thing they dont have is a water coaster so probably not. To bad they announce it when im in school -.-

^ I really don't like that idea. There's really not a way you could develop and theme rides like that. And even if you could, it wouldn't be easy. Besides that, a new section is just out of the question.

Posted

My guess would be a sky ride. With it stretching from one end of the park to the other (possibly with multiple destinations) it could easily be almost as long as Voyage, which would qualify it as the "second largest ride" in their history...

Posted

It would be a nice addition to the park for people wishing to get away from the tame rides they park offers

Tame rides? Have you ridden Voyage?

Ok thats 1 ride out of all the other rides there. Scrambler - tame. Raven is pretty tame to me same for legend. the only other non-tame would be liberty launch

Raven could be considered tame because it's pretty short, but Legend and Voyage are VERY far from being tame, in my opinion. Especially those laterals on Legend.

They could build a very nice one for between the 4.3 million they spent on pilgrims plunge and the 6.5 million they spent on voyage. But this is only going on that it will be the second largest ride holiday world has made. Maybe this or a crazy new slide.

Just curious...which ones do you think make The Legend seem tame?

I've always thought The Legend was a bit TOO intense (with the laterals).

I agree with EnglndPatriots6,

I find Legend a "meh" ride as well. Laterals don't excite me in general and the PTC's make those laterals uncomfortable. Raven and Voyage are superior ride, as are many other rides at different parks.

If you guys think the Raven and Legend are tame that just goes to show you how jaded coaster enthusiasts can be. I have NEVER heard anyone from the GP make those statements about those coasters and we never will. Those coasters are more thrilling than the majority of wooden coasters in the US BY FAR!

So you consider all smooth coasters to be tame?

Did anyone see HW's twitter messages this morning? They pretty much confirm a ProSlide HydroMagnetic Rocket.

Though the posts talk about "magic technology" and reference Schlitterbahn, I still wouldn't quite call it a confirmation.

We'll know soon enough. I'd be pretty happy to get that water coaster though.
