lil jimmy norton
Lagunitas Sucks. This tastes really good. Also picked up a Firestone Walker 17th Anniversary Ale.
805Andrew
^Were you able to find Firestone Walker in NY? That brewery is less than 15 minutes from my house. Also their anniversary ales are made in pretty limited batches and isn't one of their more common offerings.

Philrad71
Yesterday they had an open doors event in my local town (Jamestown) and after our touring around we ended up at a nice new micro-beer and wine lounge called Brazil. They have 18 drafts and literally hundreds of bottled brews in addition to a nice wine selection. I ended up trying the four beer sampler: * Mama's Lil' Yella Pils - a mild Czech pilsner. If you're not a fan of IPA's, wheat or dark beer & just want something mild, then this is the beer for you. * Founder's Centennial IPA - a little sweet in my book for an IPA, but hoppy, nonetheless. * Founder's Red's Rye IPA - not at all what I was expecting after trying the Sierra Nevada Ruthless Rye a few weeks back - this one has more of a caramel flavor to it, versus the strong, hoppy flavor of the SN Rye. * Southern Tier 2x Stout - Had to finish the sampler off with something dark. This one has some serious hints of cocoa for a smooth and palatable finish. Nice way to round out the tastings!
