Inukaza, with all due respect, even if El Toro isn't your personal cup of tea, if you watched the initial testing videos or any of the early videos and didn't immediately realize the ride was going to produce massive ejector air, then you should consider studying these videos a bit closer. I've been riding coasters for over 40 years and have been following them on the Internet since the days of when RRC was the only game in town next to ACE's newsletters. My El Toro example was spot on imo, and we can agree to disagree.

 

With that said, I'm in Boston, and use these videos to determine my coaster riding priorities for the upcoming season. I'm disappointed in what I've seen to date because at this point, I won't make a special trip to Tampa. That could change of course, but for me, I don't care about comfort or themeing as much as I want to be "thrilled." Like you, I have personal preferences, and these just happen to be mine. This is going to be a GREAT ride for the park, and doubt it will rank in the top 20 of Mitch's Steel poll from what I've seen to date.

I agree with a lot of what you said ^. I don't think this ride will be phenomenal, and I don't even see it being the best in Florida...but it should still be a very fun ride, though I can't really judge it until I ride it.

We don't need to argue this. While I would love to challenge your opinion again, because I believe your not taking everything into consideration, arguing will only attract mods and cause war. Even so, I accept your opinion.

Isn't the ride opening on May 3rd if so it looks like they have Alot of finishing touches to do. The Gift shop looks horrible imo.

It's supposed to open Memorial Day Weekend. There *MAY* be soft openings before that but I never heard May 3.

According to Busch's Ride Rehab page, the Skyride, which was suppose to open up April 24th, was delayed to May 27th when Cheetah Hunt opens.

 

Oh well, I was hoping to getting some nice photos before the ride opened..

Was at the park today, and the area looked wonderful. I got some photos of Cheetah Run. As you can see....nothing. 3 weeks and nothing is there. Also saw....huh.....a guy on the coaster. I wish it was me. And they were running the full train and an empty train. AND!!!! It was faster. Yea, you heard me, faster with both trains. So stop whinning because they're still testing.

 

V Actually, that is the name of the exhibit. I don't know where you're seeing people calling Cheetah Hunt "Cheetah Run at any point.

Is Cheetah Run the "unofficial" name for people that refuse to call it Cheetah Hunt? I know that's what the interactive cheetah exhibit will have, but I've just seen a lot of people referring to the coaster as Cheetah Run. Just curious really.

No. I was with my girlfriend, and she doesn't care to wait for 20 minutes with me so I can take a video. I won't be in Tampa again until June to ride Cheetah Hunt, so those are the last pictures I have. Hopefully someone can take my place for TPR.
