Wagon127 Posted April 30, 2019 Posted April 30, 2019 Haha, Probably the best post on this thread in 6 months! I'm sure there will be comments about still no lights on the Ferris Wheel, still 1 train on every roller coaster. Of course, there will be several people that post on here stunned that the Skyscreamer wasn't open, even tho the last 6 pages on this thread covered it!
ride of steel Posted April 30, 2019 Posted April 30, 2019 Maybe KCL Can get their hands on the wheel.
anonymouscactus Posted April 30, 2019 Posted April 30, 2019 Sorry, I guess I'm old and forgot that a lot of you might not know who Ms. Cleo is in the opening line of my "report"... my bad.
DarienPoint Posted April 30, 2019 Posted April 30, 2019 I'll be there Saturday-Sunday, although I have to still finish my SFGadv report lol, uploading and putting iPhone photos in order on the website is no fun.

Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Knowing hot Darien is, wouldn’t shock me to see Tantrum with one train lol Speaking of second trains, any word about Viper’s second train? It was said that it was almost ready to go on last year, what ever happened with that? Possibility this year?
SixFlagsAstroworld Posted May 1, 2019 Posted May 1, 2019 Really, I’m looking forward to the opening weekend so everyone can complain about how very little changed aside from skyscreamer and park signs

gearbm95 Posted May 1, 2019 Posted May 1, 2019 Insider hack...LiveNation is running their $20 all-in concert ticket deal this week (thru 5/7) and it includes all shows at Darien Lake this summer. anonymouscactus Posted May 2, 2019 Posted May 2, 2019 Is it really worth the $20 to deal with the ridiculous crowds, though? After the concert starts, probably a great time to stay in the park, but I imagine during the day wouldn't be so fun.
Wagon127 Posted May 2, 2019 Posted May 2, 2019 After the concert starts, it is a ghost town. You probably could ride every ride in the park in just a few hours. I would just recommend not staying for the laser show on a concert night.
dnn2031 Posted May 2, 2019 Posted May 2, 2019 Skyscreamer is up with it's big Six Flags globe on top. Actually doesn't look all that tall completed; think they're cheating 20 feet or so with that topper.

But yeah, those toppers are pretty big, likely for the marketing aspect of branding it taller than it really is.

anonymouscactus Posted May 2, 2019 Posted May 2, 2019 We all do realize this ride is at other Six Flags parks, right? Oh, look... it's testing... with, uh, employees... or life-like test dummy's...
ride of steel Posted May 2, 2019 Posted May 2, 2019 Yeah but I think he means at this park so we can see how it looks in the skyline.
ride of steel Posted May 2, 2019 Posted May 2, 2019 Fair enough, but I'd really like to see it with Blast Off and all the other taller rides. I'll take tons of pictures Saturday so no worries. Also it looks really nice with what I assume is SFA's RoS.
ride of steel Posted May 2, 2019 Posted May 2, 2019 ? We just wanna see what the guy claims was a topped off ride, I don't understand where the issue is...
dnn2031 Posted May 2, 2019 Posted May 2, 2019 It was all foggy so not much for photo taking. But basically like the one pictured a few posts up with an extra SF flags logo on top of the globe. About two red tower sections, two white, and one blue.
coasterbill Posted May 2, 2019 Posted May 2, 2019 ? We just wanna see what the guy claims was a topped off ride, I don't understand where the issue is... It was all foggy so not much for photo taking Okay so it looks like this
