Came to the site in time for them to stick a piece of track into the back tower. Gonna prolly head back to the park again today for a few more construction shots.

Awesome progress! A small part of me still wishes they'd gotten a custom layout from Premier, if SFMM was able to put up Yolo for only $6 mil BGW could've done something similar with two trains. But I digress

Thursday and Friday update. They were doing most of the work on the launch tower. I'd expect the park to be finished by the end of Christmas Town.

I was at Christmas Town and noticed that they'd added some big pieces of track to the launch section.

While I guess we still don't know until they 100% announce it, based on what I'm hearing, "Tempesto" really is going to be the name... sadly... IDK, maybe other people like it, I just think it sounds... meh...

Sorry if this sounds like a random question, but is there a reason why BGW does not have any wooden coasters? This park already has a great coaster lineup, but a wooden coaster would really round it out in my opinion. Not saying that Tempesto/Diavalo was a bad choice, but I just think that a wooden coaster would have been a better fit.

One reason for the park's lack of a wooden coaster is the proximity of the tony Kingsmill neighborhood. Noise is the issue here.

I'm sure the ride is going to be fun, but, damn, it sure looks rather hideous right now. I was at the park recently, and the thing looms over the Apollo's queue. It's just a huge structure that looks really cramped and busy.

Those colors look really ugly next to Apollo especially the supports. The ride will probably be awesome though. I can't believe they didn't announce it yet though, that's crazy.

Yeah, I'm not a big fan of the colors either. The bright orange supports look like ugly scaffolding imo, and the track color doesn't stand out at all. It kinda blends in with sky. I think it would look a lot better if they had switched the track colors with the support colors.
