njcoasterguy34
Hey all, I'm planning on visiting the park on May 20th this spring. I've only ridden one Vekoma invert, Mind Eraser at SFNE. I did not really enjoy that one because it was way too rough. Is T3 as rough as other Vekoma inverts?
aaron88stang
I honestly have none to compare it to other than how it rode in the past, but I rode T3 last season and was pretty impressed with how it rides with the new train. It was, dare I say...fun.
jedimaster1227
There are some really gorgeous looking elements on this one! Can't wait to see how the ride looks when it is fully finished!

Philrad71
That first drop looks ridiculous...but that 2nd crazy-looking ejector airtime hill?
samhimburg
Got this shot today on my way home from work. Figured the Storm Chaser could use some rain.
rcjp
^That element looks really cool! Also looking forward to that first airtime hill as usually RMC doesn't do a lot of "normal" big hills.
Midgetman82
^^Great shot! It looks so much more sleek with the removal of the supports behind that track!
RyanTPM
Those are some fantastic shots, can't wait for the layout to be complete!

cfc
^^Great shot! It looks so much more sleek with the removal of the supports behind that track! Agreed. I love the reflection of the track in the water.
Jcoaster
Good lord, this thing looks legit. RMC really hitting another home run.
chickenbowl
The coaster looks pretty small, but definitely fun! It'll be interesting having two similar coasters (100' airtime machines) at the same 5-coaster park. At least this one has inversions to distinguish itself from Lightning Run. I'm looking forward to visiting this park on the trip this summer, I love the 5 RMC's I've ridden so far, this one should be no different!
Nwstone
It is a pretty small coaster , but surprisingly medusa is slightly shorter, if that's any indication this ride still has the potential to stand with the big boys like TC, IRat and NTAG
njcoasterguy34
Wicked Cyclone at SFNE is small but it still packs a pretty good punch.

Canobie Coaster
Wicked Cyclone at SFNE is small but it still packs a pretty good punch. Amen to that. If these hills are anything like the ones on Wicked Cyclone, and going off of RMC's resume it should, the ride should be fantastic. I can't wait to see the first POV and offride video to see how the speed is maintained.

jedimaster1227
In looking at the pictures that have come out during construction, it appears that not much of Twisted Twins was actually used in the development of Storm Chaser aside from the station. Am I missing something or did this end up being more of a from-scratch project than originally implied?

Am I missing something or did this end up being more of a from-scratch project than originally implied? All of the steel supports that Storm Chaser uses were Twisted Twin's supports. It's basically the same thing that the previous 5 RMC conversions did, except that TT is the first converted wooden coaster that originally had steel supports instead of wood. Midgetman82
One of the dueling sides were removed, but it's pretty much following the same footprint Twisted Twins used and using its steel support structure with some higher/lower modifications. Vonni
I was surprised that there was not more coverage/pics of the demolition of the other side of Twisted Twins. It must have happened really fast.
