Battlerams Posted October 15, 2015 Posted October 15, 2015 This is looking to be MUCH better than i expected to be, considering the horrible rendering and all
SFOGdude25 Posted October 15, 2015 Posted October 15, 2015 The rendering really just showed what the layout would be. I knew as soon as I saw the NL1-esque supports that it was nowhere near what the real thing would look like. The drop looks insane by the way.
fpsphil Posted October 15, 2015 Posted October 15, 2015 This looks insane. That RMC trip i want to do next summer looking more and more likely
Midgetman82 Posted October 15, 2015 Posted October 15, 2015 The sunset also made for some gorgeous photos of the coaster. That first drop looks so surreal in the first photo!
El Toro_Ryan Posted October 15, 2015 Posted October 15, 2015 Wow! That looks amazing! And it looks like they didn't paint where the running wheels will be running this time around. I know RMC had issues with Wicked Cyclone where they wanted the paint to wear off where the wheels ran.
aLFREd_25 Posted October 15, 2015 Posted October 15, 2015 Wow, that looks awesome. I had the slight urge to visit KK when they installed Lightning Run, but now it looks like I will for sure have to make the 9hr drive!
Vonni Posted October 15, 2015 Posted October 15, 2015 Wow, that drop! OMG it looks amazing! It looks even better than the version on MSC!
lbeeler Posted October 15, 2015 Posted October 15, 2015 I know where I will be during testing. setting in a chair on Crittenden drive with a cold one
mikeykaise Posted October 15, 2015 Posted October 15, 2015 I know where I will be during testing. setting in a chair on Crittenden drive with a cold one That's an awesome idea, TPR part on Crittenden when testing starts. I just can't get over that drop, coming out of the barrell roll, I noticed two things A) you pretty much half-way down and b) there's like no noticeable curve at all, its a straight shot to the bottom. This will start out the ride with a huge kick in the pants!
Nickstroberg Posted October 15, 2015 Posted October 15, 2015 It looks a little more drawn out than MSC, which I think will be a good thing! RMC is always improving every little detail. Thats why they'll be rival to Intamin in a decade or so. Pushing the envelope with consistency.
Midgetman82 Posted October 15, 2015 Posted October 15, 2015 That red reeeally sticks out (in a great way!) against the more faded colors of the supports and along the drive. That and the whole element is such a refresher for the backside of the park! I'll have to make a trip by there soon for another panorama!
Superbatboy Posted October 15, 2015 Posted October 15, 2015 Smart of RMC not to paint the area of the track where the wheels run, since that part will wear off quickly anyway (ie Twisted Colossus, Wicked Cyclone, Steel Medusa)

jedimaster1227 Posted October 16, 2015 Posted October 16, 2015 That initial drop-roll looks fantastic! I can't wait to see how the finished coaster turns out!

Vonni Posted October 16, 2015 Posted October 16, 2015 Its still hard to believe that KK has become what it is after sitting essentially abandoned for so many years! Way to go Ed Hart!

viking86 Posted October 16, 2015 Posted October 16, 2015 That looks kinda cute.... and awesome! It may not be as spectacular as Wildfire or Lightning Rod, but it's still going to provide a kick-ass ride!
