I haven't kept count of the number of rides, but if I had to guess, I would say Expedition Everest. Certainly not the best coaster out there, I know, but for some reason I ended up riding it a lot the first year it opened. And it's still a fun ride, even with the broken yeti!

Do people really keep track of how many times they ride each coaster? I understand the idea of keep track or your credits but this may be a little overboard!!!

Not everyone keeps track on how many times they ride a certain ride. I'm just that dorky when it comes to coasters At ert sessions with TPR on each run I hold a finger up on how many times I ride that coaster during the hour. After 10 runs I put it in my phone or if we have to walk around the entrance to get back on I just do it each time. Surprisingly being this organized with my coaster counting actually helps me keep organized in school. I even keep track of the theme parks I visit each year & the order I visit them with the date & I give a little summery of the day next. For example I go under my 2009 Amusement Park section & write: 6/12: Clementon Park: 1 coaster/3 runs. Then I will go to my 2009 Roller Coasters section, find HellCat, & write 3 tally marks. It is a routine after every trip I do. Here are some pics of my coaster binder

I actually love to keep track as well like that, except I never did a very good job of tracking it down on a "per visit" basis unless it was a really good day, and I happen to remember it. What I do keep track of though are total rides for individual coasters, and the rides that year for the coasters. I am not sure why I chose to, but I also keep the wooden and steel coasters seperate when "ranking" them based on the number of rides. I also use Excel insted of a notebook. This is a fun way to pass some down time at home, especially to sit and watch how things change each visit, almost like a baseball player climbing up the all-time home run list. I believe I also always have had an interest in statistics as well.

Anywho, my top ten (Both wood and steel combined) looks something like this:

1. Raptor: 92

2. Iron Dragon: 41

3. Griffon: 40

4. Apollo's Chariot: 38

5. Gemini: 36

T6. Millennium Force: 35

T6. Wicked Twister: 35

8. Mantis: 34

9. Blue Streak: 32

T10. Magnum XL 200: 31

T10. Mean Streak: 31

I have a hunch that my lists will look very different after the Texas Trip.

I don't remember how many times in total, but last year I went to Kings Dominion, I rode Anaconda 12 times in a row while I was waiting for some friends to meet us at the soda machines near the exit. And I've been on the ride many times, seasons before that. Hopefully when I go to Busch Gardens thid Augest, I can break a new record.

I don't actually count, but there are rides that I know every twist and turn of in my head because I've ridden them so many times. Those would include Califonia Screamin', DLR Space Mountain, DLR BTMRR, and SFNE's SRoS/Bizarro. There are other coasters I know really well because I got to marathon them, even if my lifetime totals aren't that high. Those would include X (yes, I was there on a day so empty that they were allowing multiple rerides on X), Kraken, Xcelerator, and USH's Mummy.

My highest

Great American Scream Machine (Sfgadv) with approx. 75

2nd highest

Nitro with 69 times. And that number IS accurate.

I used coastercounter.com for that, i just estimated the amount of times i've been on GASM when i started it. Nothing else really comes close... Medusa is at approx. 54.

I don't really keep track on how many times i've ridden all coasters. I know a few of the counts on the one I have ridden multiple times.

CCMine Ride-30 times (23 of them were done back in '92).

Wicked Twister- 5 times

Phantom's Revenge- 6 times

Dominator- 5 times

Villain- 5 times

I take counting seriously because it's fun for me!

Here's my top 10 from CoasterCounter. I haven't been on any ride very many times...yet.

1. Giant Dipper -- 10

2. Medusa -- 7

2. Roar

2. Vertical Velocity

5. Hurricane -- 6

5. Ice Mountain Bobsled

7. Flight Deck --5

7. Vortex

7. Looping Thunder

7. Kong

I could ride Giant Dipper at SCBB all day if it weren't for the distraction of the merry-go-round. I really want to go back and marathon it!

I don't know how many times I have ridden it, but I have marathoned California Screamin tons of times, I have never not gone on it when I go to the park unless it was a special event or one of my friends wasn't an ap or parkhopper ticket holder. Also, very rarely will I go to DCA with at least 2 rides, but that number has been a lot more, and Tower of Terror, because of the moment of ejector airtime.

I don't really keep track, but I know I have 100+ rides on the following coasters.

Space Mtn (Disneyland) may even be over 200 including the old and new track

Big Thunder Mtn. (Disneyland)

California Screamin' (DCA)

Xcelerator (Knott's)

Colossus (SFMM)

Revolution (SFMM)

Batman (SFMM)

Ninja (SFMM)

Gold Rusher (SFMM)

Montezooma's Revenge (Knott's)

Psyclone (SFMM - Mostly during it's first few years of operations, prior to 1994)

Probably have 50+ on:

Viper (SFMM)

Goliath (SFMM)

Superman: TE (SFMM)

Ghostrider (Knott's)

Embarrassingly, the coaster I've ridden the most is Rolling Thunder at SFGAd. Probably over 300 times, the bulk of the rides during the 1980s when it was a decent but not great coaster. I'll still ride it once or twice a season. Second place is most likely the 35-year-old Runaway Mine Train, but Nitro is very close.

As for out of my area coasters, the ones most ridden are Colossus and Revolution at SFMM, although I refuse to ride Revolution anymore.

We don't keep counts on everything we ride, but do count the coasters we ride most often. I don't have the exact counts in front of me, but our top 5 would be:

Rolling Thunder at SFGAd - 3,300

Boulder Dash - 2,600

Montu - 600

Nitro - 500

Steel Force - 400

Rampage is my most ridden wooden coaster by far. I didn't keep track last year, but I estimate it was somewhere between 130-150 rides.

My most ridden steel coaster is Intimidator, which at this point I've ridden 137 times. After that, Magnum and Millennium Force are both about in the 80s. Many other coasters at CP I've ridden in the 50-60 range. Afterburn I've ridden close to 70 times, and Nighthawk is close to 50 (just because of test rides while I worked there).
