  1. Where is the official announcement for SFNE? I didnt see one yet and on their website it just says new coaster for 2011, not too mention the wildmouse is still SBNO at SFKK.
  2. LC is open from 5pm till midnight during haunted graveyard but the rides close at 11pm. Both parks wont be that crowded since its the beginning of the halloween season. SFNE wont get crowded until the evening hrs since the park has a no reentry after 4pm policy during FF.
  3. ^ How will they theme a mouse coaster? It will just get a quick paint job and slapped in TDKs spot and named after a superhero or villian and that is the extent of the theming.Im even willing to bet they dont add a single rider line which will make its capacity even worse.
  4. Since the new management has taken over lets see what they have done so far! 1- Got rid of Shapiro and replaced him with someone less qualified 2- Fired 4 park GMs and replaced them 3 Cut park hours 4 Cancelled the glow in the park parade which was scheduled to run till Labor day 5 Raised food prices during the season 6 Making the 2011 season parking passes only good for parking at home parks 7 Cancelled Holiday in the park 8 changed location of The wild mouse from TGE to SFNE and now no new attraction for TGE Seems to me they are doing everything they can to piss the customers off. IMO all these negatives will have a huge impact in season pass sales and attendance for the 2011 season!
  5. Well according to their rides page they are listing it as a thrill ride. SFNE draws between 1.4 and 1.7 million visiters a year depending on the weather, and this summer has been rain free. There is no way they should be putting a ride like this into a park that is surrounded by some of the richest states in the country. In no way will that coaster boost attendance at the park and that should be the goal of any business if they want to survive.
  6. There is no contest, Knoebels blows away Hershey. Hershey is over priced and there isnt one coaster in the park that i would consider great. The place is always crowded with long lines, the food is terrible (and expensive) and with all the asphalt it is brutal on hot days. Knoebels on the other hand is one of the top 3 parks in the country IMO. Yes it only has 2 coasters but they are both awesome and most of the flat rides dont have programs that run short cycles, The cycles are determined by the lenght of the line. I have gotten 5min rides on the flyers there and the bumpercars are the best i have ever ridden. The park is almost all in the shade, plus they have lots of pavillions so you can bring your own food. What other parks have you been too where you can bring a fishing pole and fish in the river that runs through the park?
  7. I was wondering if anyone noticed that SF season passes with parking are only going to be allowed to get parking in the park where you bought the pass from. I also noticed this from SFStl website: !http://www.sixflags.com/stlouis/tickets/seasonpass.aspx
  8. I met up with Big Mike today at aceday at Playland in Rye NY. Here is a pic of him getting a rare coaster credit on the Wooden kiddie coaster! Nice to meet you again Mike.
  9. I would have to say Skyscraper when i rode it at Dorney park and all the rides on top of the Stratosphere!
  10. That picture was taken at Quassy Park in CT. http://www.facebook.com/album.php?aid=75212&id=38328744398#!/photo.php?pid=4557317&id=38328744398&ref=fbx_album

  12. Here is the 3rd train of riddlers revenge that is being used on Chang at Gradv. Its in the maintenance lot at Gradv. http://www.facebook.com/home.php?#!/photo.php?pid=31015307&o=all&op=1&view=all&subj=69421318512&id=1363993644
  13. Nice pics and TR but you really should read TPRs TOS about the 2 onride pics you posted!
  14. I think the chicks nips would tell you the temp outside!
  15. I just buy the platinum pass and stay at a cheap motel down the road and this way i still get early entry and then i use the pass at other CF parks. Dorney is only 3 hrs from me and i also live in CT. If you go I-80 you can hit knoebels on the way and it breaks up the drive.
  16. ^ Dont forget about early entrance with your seasonpass at Dorney! ERT on Talon!
  17. ^ weekdays the waits have been between 45mins and an hour but on weekends 90mins to 2hrs. this pic was taken at noon today with my cell
  18. SFNE has been packing the crowds in all season with the nice weather we have been having so you might want to get the Flashpass. You should have no problems doing LC in a few hrs but if it is crowded you can always use the new text2ride lo-que
  19. I Imagine soon because the town meeting for it is tuesday. http://www.jacksontwpnj.net/Townhall/Planning%20&%20Zoning/agendas/2010/pb_agenda_08-02-10.pdf
  20. The Registration Flyer for the "Ride The Bull" event is now online here
  21. I have and SFNE pass, a CF Platinum pass from CP and a Lake Compounce pass, which i get every year!
  22. SFNE opens in the rain but according to the extended forecast it syas 40% chance of showers in the afternoon. That actually might help you because it will keep the crowds down.
  23. ^^ Who cares, the only rankings that matter is your own!
