This thread should have been titled which coasters you cant reride. I can ride them all except for 2, SOB and Meanstreak. I did ride SROS at SFNE 26 times in a row without getting off during ERT at super hero celebration a couple of years ago!

^ There is only 2 good rides in the park IMO, Nitro and Eltoro. They only have like 6 flats in the park and none of them are that good. The park looks like crap with all these big empty spots every where. Last year i visited gradv 10 times and this year i have only went 2 times with a planned visit in the fall for the riding of the bull event. So unless they start adding more rides i dont think i will be going there more than a couple of times a year.

Wheres all the pics? if its over 100 degrees wouldnt you just be wearing shorts and a t-shirt so why would you not want to ride the water rides which you would be dried off in about 20mins!

This has been the slowest year for me in the last 10yrs. I hope i can find a job soon so i can hit more parks. Lake Compounce-5 times SFNE-10 times SFGradv-2 times

Thats my kind of park, i just wish they had them ride rougher coasters! lol I would like to see that around here, although Lake Compounce is one of the few parks i know of that lets female guests ride in Bikinis which is one reason i love the park.

Are they selling the tobaggan coaster or scrapping it? I wish another park would buy it and refurbish it. A small park like Knoebels or lake compounce would be nice as it looks like an awesome coaster.

Most coasters have a test seat that you can try before you enter the que. I wish more people would use them so they dont waste other peoples time and hold up dispatches. Thats the one thing i like about CP is the op at the entrance will not let bigger guests enter the que without trying the test seat. i spoke to the op on bizarro at SFNE and he told me that they are not allowed to do that which i couldnt understand at all. The one thing i do hate is when the guest is told that they cant ride they get all mad at them and the ride like its their fault.

I think SFI made a mistake when they turned down the deal to sell Kingda Krap to Dubai! They could have made 25million and saved alot more in maintenance costs, to help them with their debt load.

There has been ground work going on at SFNE which started on Monday. They have fenced off the employee lot down by Batman and heavy equipment was digging in the area. As of now there has been rumors of what it could be. I only have 1 pic that was sent to my cell but more will be posted soon here

I only have been counting my rides on superman ride of steel at sfne and when it ran its last time before its transformation my count was at 1,075. I only have 12 rides on it as Bizarro so far since it opened on Media day.

Mine would be a tie betwwen Hercules(Dorney) and Viper(Gradv) both which are burning in hell i hope! lol

Both CP and KI are awesome parks but the best parks can be found in PA. You really cant compare TTD to kingda krap because TTD blows KK away. TTD is so much smoother and has alot less down time then KK does. Plus i cant stand the otsr's on KK when TTD has lapbars. Niether CP or KI has any good woodies, for those try the parks in PA.

I would have to say Boulderdash since it lives up to its name. I think the funniest nickname for a coaster is Rotting Lumber (AKA Rolling Thunder at Gradv)

Been there,done that & so far nadda.We've already gleaned all the possible info we can from the zoning board documants since the park is being rather tightlipped about the project. Then you have to go to the town hall in person and request to see the plans. They cannot refuse to show you them because of the "Right to know act"

If you really want to know what its going to be then why not go to the towns website and check their town meetings minutes. Im sure they had to file for permits to build it.

My first inversion coaster was Black Widow at Riverside Park its first year of operation.

You been on Maverick? With that 95 degree drop and the second hill that gives amazing air? CP has good airtime without Magnum. Yes i have ridden maverick several times and i was not impressed by it at all. It gave my shoulders bruises from the pos OTSR. Another overrated coaster IMO. To be honest i enjoyed Ferenheit at hershey better. My home parks are SFNE and Lake Compounce so i am spoiled to the #1 steel coaster and Boulderdash, not to mention Eltoro just 2hrs 45mins away. So if a coaster is to impress me it better be better than any of those.

I think the main reason it gets so much love is because its the only coaster in the park with airtime! Personally the best coaster in the park is Raptor IMO.

Spending the money on a new sign is ok but why not spend it on new trains, those are out dated POS imo. I also agree that the coaster is way overrated, rough and the layout is boring. I think the ride was designed for one purpose and that was to be a record breaker as well as other parts of the body.lol My kids rode it last year for the first time and they said it was a piece of crap too, actually they said they liked Steel Force better at dorney!
