coasterman7 Posted April 4, 2006 Posted April 4, 2006 I play the cello in my school orchestra. We are now working on Pirates of the Carribbean for our spring concert
trustkill22 Posted April 4, 2006 Posted April 4, 2006 I played Baritone in my music class in school for 2 years. Grades 9 and 10 and now I don't because I hate orchestra music because of my teacher.
phazan Posted April 4, 2006 Posted April 4, 2006 ^^I am playing Pirates too! Â I play Alto Sax in my school symphonic band. In fact, we are going a Southern California ''tour'' Thursday, and were going to DisneyLand!
lapseofreason Posted April 6, 2006 Posted April 6, 2006 I play guitar (about 7 years now) and bass (about 2 or 3, I can't remember). When I have spare time, I'm also trying to learn keyboards (what a beotch) and clarinet (even bigger beotch). Oh, and I have a violin that I've been playing since fifth grade but that gets the least use of them all as I never got too far with it.  I think I need to play less instruments   -amanda
DejaVu4Life Posted April 6, 2006 Posted April 6, 2006 Clarinet, and I can do a little bit of Alto Sax and Flute. Â Our marching band went to London for the New Years Day Parade of 2005.
Steffen_Dk Posted April 6, 2006 Posted April 6, 2006 I can play: Trombone, baritone, drums, a little lyre, piano and euphonium. But I mostely play euphonium, and I think I'm quite good
mcjaco Posted April 11, 2006 Posted April 11, 2006 I played drums from 3rd grade through high school and, then sporadically after that. Â Oddly enough, I may be the drum instructor for my high school's marching band this fall. I better bone up on my paradiddles.
sfmmFREAK Posted April 11, 2006 Posted April 11, 2006 i can...sorta...play the guitar. my dad plays guitar, and he's always wanted to teach me, but it never seemed that great to me. Â but i CAN play the triange like nobody else
coasterguy618 Posted April 11, 2006 Posted April 11, 2006 I've been playing drums for about 4 years. I am obsessed. That is my favorite thing besides coasters.
dragoncoaster1292 Posted April 11, 2006 Posted April 11, 2006 Bass guitar (Eh, I'm learning!) Clarinet (Which I am AMAZING at!) Recorder (Also AMAZING at!) Slide flute (Pretty good) Drums (Good, but not amazing.) Piano (I SUCK) Anything else percussion (Good) Â I play in the school band, and was in the Honor band this year, where we played stuff like "Peer Gynt Suite" (Hard as hell!), "Fanfare" (From 2001: A Space Odyssey!) And Yankee Doodle (All in high notes. Those of you who play the clarinet, you can imagine how HARD that is!)
Luxo Posted April 11, 2006 Posted April 11, 2006 I've been taking guitar lessons for about two years now. (Three if you include my dad teaching me the basics early on.)
pvcoasterguy Posted April 12, 2006 Posted April 12, 2006 ^^ Above high C (thumb C?) Then yeah, they may be hard to get out. However, the most challenging thing is making those notes (like high D, C sharp) sound good. Â I just got back from pit orchestra for our school musical, Crazy for You. (I'm playing bass clarinet in it.) Some of the music (all Gershwin) is very evil at times. Six sharps and six flats are not fun at all on the clarinet.
sbrownttd Posted April 12, 2006 Posted April 12, 2006 I play an electric guitar, only been playing a few months and seem to be coming along nicely. learnt few songs mostly green day stuff and the darkness.
CoasterExpert13 Posted April 12, 2006 Posted April 12, 2006 I played the Violin and Clarinet from 5th grade to 8th grade...Somewhere in between 10th and 11th grade I forgotten how to play them both somewhat (Got bored with them). I've been playing drums since I was 10.
thomas2 Posted May 1, 2006 Posted May 1, 2006 Well I play the piano since I was 8. I have my final, grand exam on 20th of may.
dragoncoaster1292 Posted May 1, 2006 Posted May 1, 2006 OMG, I just found out that I'm playing the above high C for one of the wind ensemble songs!
Robgraves Posted May 1, 2006 Posted May 1, 2006 i play keyboard, synth, accoustic guitar, drum programming.
GMAN962 Posted March 18, 2007 Posted March 18, 2007 Currently, I play the drums. I used to play the guitar, but not anymore. Â I actually play on an electric kit, but yeah... Â -Mike
65skylark Posted March 19, 2007 Posted March 19, 2007 Nothing like bringing a thread back from the dead. Â Played the piano for years and picked up bass somewhere along the way. Beethoven and Flea are my heroes! Â Lou is awesome!!!!! That is all.
Neogreeneyez Posted March 19, 2007 Posted March 19, 2007 I play the piano... have for 13 years.... I actually go to Berklee College of music.... Fun times!
the sound Posted March 19, 2007 Posted March 19, 2007 Clarinet, 5th Grade AMEB. (That's good ofr my age BTW!) Piano, but i'm not sure if i'm continuing it though.
BorisTF Posted March 19, 2007 Posted March 19, 2007 I find it weird that I have never seen this thread before  I myself play Guitar, have been doing so for nearly 5 years now.
N8BGR8 Posted March 19, 2007 Posted March 19, 2007 I have been playing the trombone for two years now. I am also in my school Symphonic Band and am practicing a song called Cruella De Vil for when we play at Disney World.
