Team Thriller Posted February 8, 2009 Posted February 8, 2009 I own the South Park Movie soundtrack.... It's amazing, but I feel like a complete idiot singing along to it in the shower. --James
Homer Posted February 8, 2009 Posted February 8, 2009 The Space Jam soundtrack and Pokemon 2.B.A. Master.
TheRapidsNerd Posted February 8, 2009 Posted February 8, 2009 Elvis Presley: It's Christmas Time. The music is good, but how this came to be is a fun short story. One year Mom and I were decorating the tree, and we couldn't find the usual christmas music to listen to. So we put in an Elvis cd and cracked up the entire time we decorated. Think we were both crying from laughing so hard at one point. Great memories. Ok, I'll admit to some Britney, Christina Agulera, and Backstreet Boys on iTunes since we're talking embarassing stuff here.
socalMAN123 Posted February 9, 2009 Posted February 9, 2009 I own the South Park Movie soundtrack.... It's amazing, but I feel like a complete idiot singing along to it in the shower. Blame Canda. 'Nuff said. ---Brent
TheHulk Posted February 9, 2009 Posted February 9, 2009 An A-Teens CD I got for my birthday when I was about 13 or 14. Only real reason I still have it is because it was a gift. Lol.
Rct3man777 Posted February 9, 2009 Posted February 9, 2009 Some old banjo CD... Don't know how it got there, but it got there, and Ima break it into peices...
Dailey Enterprizes Posted February 9, 2009 Posted February 9, 2009 I used to own "The Night at the Roxbury" soundtrack. [bobs head] "What is love? Baby don't hurt me, don't hurt me, no more..." [/bobs head]
thrillgeek Posted February 10, 2009 Posted February 10, 2009 ^Hey dude don't hate. West Side Story has some awesome songs. I'm too lazy to get a pic but mine would have to be William Hungs CD.
eddie200330 Posted February 10, 2009 Posted February 10, 2009 I dunno, a tossup between Tiffany's greatest hits(did she really have any??) and Air Supply's Greatest!! Keep in mind I am more of a metal/hard rock kinda guy LMAO!
Vekoma Fan Boy Posted February 10, 2009 Posted February 10, 2009 Aaron Carter's "Aaron's Party, Come Get It!" I would take a hammer to it, but my mom would freak. Also I went to an Aaron Carter concert when I was like 6 or 7 O.O Then 7 years later, after developing a hatred of that horrid music, I attended the first annual Mayhem Festival! Now I need to go this year so I have more good concerts than bad under my belt.
terrancew_hod Posted February 10, 2009 Posted February 10, 2009 I know somebody bought this back in the day... I pull this out every holiday season. The Christmas and New Years medleys are the ultimate disco jams! I don't have this, but I posted it for giggles... the real singers from the first album are on the left and right ends... it never made it out of Germany, but it seems the record company didn't learn its lesson by trying to stick video-friendly singers in the group. Just let the ugly guys sing for heaven's sake! They deserved the real shot instead of having to put up with the sham! "Girl you know it's true... oooh oooh ooooh...."
Emiroo Posted February 10, 2009 Author Posted February 10, 2009 No shame here - I'll proudly say that I own the first Milli Vanilli album. I don't care who's really singing, those are some good & catchy songs. The "Girl You Know It's True (NY Subway Remix)" will always be one of the all time great-remixes out there.

gerd.muller Posted February 11, 2009 Posted February 11, 2009 I don't have this, but I posted it for giggles... the real singers from the first album are on the left and right ends... it never made it out of Germany, but it seems the record company didn't learn its lesson by trying to stick video-friendly singers in the group. Just let the ugly guys sing for heaven's sake! They deserved the real shot instead of having to put up with the sham!.. Oh well, I can remember that "Milli Vanilli" scandal back in 1991. You saw pictures in the news, where histeric crying Kiddies (near to a nervous breakdown!) with their angry parents burnt Milli Vanilli-CD´s and demonstrating against the record label. I never understood all that rumble, because there´s just one thing I can say about Milli Vanilli: I REALLY HATE(D) THEM!!! And one more bad thing: My wife just right now confessed to me that she still has a "Girl you know it´s true"-Vinyl in her wardrobe. If i would have known that before, I would never have married her!!! (...no, just kidding!)
terrancew_hod Posted February 11, 2009 Posted February 11, 2009 ^Basically Milli Vanilli was singing over a remixed version of a rap song... was it "Paid in Full"? (not sure, don't care really). I liked the music of the original but was not fond of the rapping, so this was a compromise. If I had the computer software back then, I would just take the instumental parts and just loop it and eliminate both of them. I remember when they offered money back for the album; I just kept mine. Another scandal that I thought was even worse was C&C music factory and Black Box. I remember when Zelma Davis got on stage after accepting the Grammy for the C&C album and started to sing. I said "That's great that you could actually sing, but that STILL isn't you on that record!" This was the real singer in C&C music factory, Martha Wash... who was also one of the singers of Weather Girls, ("It's raining Men"). They finally credited her and added "Visualized by" in the music videos but she didn't get much credits as she should have. That gal could BLOW! blackbox.bmp Blackbox also used the same girl from C&C for most of the tracks. Except from one by Joyelyn Brown. Well there was two, ahem, reasons why I liked this group. But the girl wasn't the one that actually sang "Everybody Dance Now".
Emiroo Posted February 11, 2009 Author Posted February 11, 2009 Hell Yeah! Martha Wash has some pipes! I still love me some BB & C&C! Once again, video kills the radio star.

"Ride on Time" hit the charts in October ´89 here in Germany, that was the time when I started to visit Clubs and Discotheques (here in Germany you can go to Clubs at the Age of 16, accompanied by an adult, in my case that was my elder sister!) and that´s one of that songs that makes me remind of great times I had back in those days!
Pufferfish Posted February 13, 2009 Posted February 13, 2009 I have an entire stack hidden in my closet containing almost every girl band that came out in the late 90s, Aron Carter's first CD, Radio Disney Jams, and, dare i mention it, the Yu-Gi-Oh! soundtrack! At least I only borrowed the Pokemon soundtrack from my sister, that's her burden.
nay Posted February 15, 2009 Posted February 15, 2009 Oooh, I own many CDs that make me hang my head in shame. A few that come to mind are Clay Aiken, O-Town, and the soundtrack to one of the most amazing movies ever, Snakes on a Plane.
AviatorCoaster Posted April 6, 2009 Posted April 6, 2009 Interesting topic. Mine is most definitely William Hung. I couldn't resist!
netdvn Posted April 6, 2009 Posted April 6, 2009 The only CDs I actually own are Christian Rock CDs that my dad gave me. The most embarrassing piece of music that I own is Dancing Queen by ABBA. ... and I have that Christmas Shoes song as well.
