firehawkboy Posted February 3, 2009 Posted February 3, 2009 ^I really don't think they would waste ALL that steel just for some "gimic". Especially with the economy. It's definatly track for a new B&M coaster for whenever.
Bolliger&Mabillard Posted February 3, 2009 Posted February 3, 2009 ^Drachen Boy may be on to something. It could just all be an illusion. I mean you can shape and cut foam board to look like pretty much about anything, so long as it's not windy.
firehawkboy Posted February 3, 2009 Posted February 3, 2009 ^Umm.. Yeah, I was the one who took the pictures and I touched them and it is really track. I can't believe people are saying it's "fake" or an "illusion".
DRACHEN_FIRE_FAN-BOY Posted February 3, 2009 Posted February 3, 2009 Im not saying that it isn't going somewhere or that it is fake, what I am saying is that the track is made, it's going somewhere, clearly the labels don't give us enough information, which is what B&M wants.
Hercules Posted February 3, 2009 Posted February 3, 2009 I'm pretty sure the labels on the steel aren't on there to trick anyone.
DRACHEN_FIRE_FAN-BOY Posted February 3, 2009 Posted February 3, 2009 I'm pretty sure the labels on the steel aren't on there to trick anyone. Â I never said trick, B&M is probably just tired of us going to the factory and finding out things before the press release.
Hercules Posted February 3, 2009 Posted February 3, 2009 No. I'm pretty sure the labels are on there for their own sake. I'm not sure that they have the intent of keeping crazy enthusiast people from knowing where the track is going. Chances are they are not going to just put a not on there saying "This is inverted roller coaster track for ABC park in Matamoras, PA. Please make sure it gets there safely." Â For example, I work for a manufacturer of ballast for lighting. One new product that I'm working with is a KTEB-232LBF-UV-TP-PIC-EV. You may say, "What the hell is a KTEB-232LBF-UV-TP-PIC-EV?" In short, it is a ballast that operates 2 lite, 32 watt, T8 fluorescent light fixtures. Why don't we just say that? It is just a catalog number for it. I'm sure B&M has it's own operations and internal control systems in place that all of those letters and numbers mean something, and they aren't out to confuse us.
DRACHEN_FIRE_FAN-BOY Posted February 3, 2009 Posted February 3, 2009 You still don't quite get my point.
TPDave Posted February 3, 2009 Posted February 3, 2009 what I am saying is that the track is made, it's going somewhere, clearly the labels don't give us enough information, which is what B&M wants. Â ^ If this is your point then you're just stating the obvious. Or am I too missing something? Â Dave

Hercules Posted February 3, 2009 Posted February 3, 2009 I'm not trying to argue with you, we just don't quite get what you are trying to say. The way I understand it is you think that B&M's purpose for using those labels is to trick us. I'm just saying the I'm pretty that isn't the purpose for those. If you could elaborate, I think we would understand the point you are trying to make. Â From the point that I am questioning you, it just seems like B&M is only using those labels to confuse "us". From your previous statement, that was quoted, I agree with you.
Hercules Posted February 3, 2009 Posted February 3, 2009 It actually blows pretty hard. Any time I try to get involved in it, I can't tell if I'm being the idiot or if someone else is.
Wes Posted February 3, 2009 Posted February 3, 2009 There are 52 pages of posts about pieces of yellow painted metal in front of a factory in Ohio. Â We are all idiots.
BeemerBoy Posted February 3, 2009 Posted February 3, 2009 This thread rules so hard. But does it deserve a "metal?"
Meteornotes Posted February 3, 2009 Posted February 3, 2009 Did someone say...METAL?!?!?!?! Â Â BREAKING THE LAW, BITCHES!!!!! Â dt

From your previous statement, that was quoted, I agree with you.  What I meant is; the labels are not to trick, but to leave this coaster a secret by not labeling a park we know on the labels of the track that was pictured. So yes, we know it is a coaster, but it is to leave the "where" out of the picture until a proper media release has been issued. Im just saying that there is no "proper label" in the sense of no park or park operations company that we are aware of is labeled. So I think that maybe a park operations company and B&M wanted to keep this somewhat of a secret.  No trick, just labeled to stay a secret, and keep us distracted until a proper announcement has been made.  Is that better?
Hercules Posted February 3, 2009 Posted February 3, 2009 Yeah it is better, and I think you just don't quite get it. Thanks for explaining though.
DRACHEN_FIRE_FAN-BOY Posted February 3, 2009 Posted February 3, 2009 Done, Im done with this freakin' thread, good bye, tell me when you figure it out
Hercules Posted February 3, 2009 Posted February 3, 2009 No reason to freak out. I "get" what you are saying. I'm just not sure you get understand what I'm saying. Â But anyway. Â There is yellow track in Ohio.
SharkTums Posted February 3, 2009 Posted February 3, 2009 There is yellow track in Ohio. Â OMG!!?!? There is!?!?! What coaster is it for? Did you know that Heath Ledger died!?!?!? Â Â Â Â Â
Electerik Posted February 3, 2009 Posted February 3, 2009 I think it's an invert. Â /I really do love this thread. //Life is like a wheel.
