Subject_12
Currently reading "From Russia With Love" by Ian Fleming. You should recognize that name. The original book series is absolutely spectacular.
jray21
Just started reading Two Graves, be Preston & Child. This is the 12th book of theirs I am reading, and I really like them. Their first book, Relic, is really good, but a not so good movie.
onewheeled999
I've been reading House of Leaves by Mark Z. Danielewski off and on for about two months. Jeez, that's a dense book. But just flipping through it, seeing the typography and stylistic choices, I can't help but be intrigued.
bottom_feeder_13
I just finished reading a collection of Camus, The Stranger, The Fall, and The Plague, I really enjoyed them all. Just started reading The Gulag Archipelago and am reading Catcher in the Rye for school .
onewheeled999
^ What did you think of The Stranger in particular? I had to read it for school last semester, and personally loved the exploration of ideas, but couldn't deal with the main character, despite his quirks being the entire point of the book. Â Coincidentally, that's exactly how I'd describe my feelings toward Catcher in the Rye... Meh when actually reading it, exceptional when analyzing it later. Nrthwnd
I got this from Amazon.UK a few days ago. Â Starting to read it now. It has a lot of backstory and history to Alton Towers itself, before the theme park came into being, as it is today. Not a lot of photos in it, but so far has started out, an interesting read. jray21
Got the Kane Chronicles. It's from the guy who wrote Percy Jackson. Percy Jackson was good, but nothing great, so I thought I'd give it a chance. Plus, it was $10 for all three books on my Kindle.

gisco
Twelve Years a Slave, my daughter got it for me at Christmas. Now I will probably have to see the movie too!
cfc
^The movie is excellent, but difficult to watch (for understandable reasons). Â I like to read one "moldy classic" per year; this year, it's Victor Hugo's Les Miserables. There's not a lot of singing in it, strangely enough. Moose
I just finished Signals of Distress. It wasn't bad but I did not like the ending. I want to read MaddAdam, the last if Margaret Atwood's amazing trilogy, but not sure what my book club will pick next. Hopefully I get to choose! jray21
Just read the first Cirque du Freak book. As with most books that are movies, it was completely different from the movie, and I do like the book better.
MetallicHorse
I'm almost done with The Catcher in the Rye by J.D. Salinger. I have to read it for my English class and let me tell you, it's one of the best, if not the best book I have ever read
jray21
Started re-reading the Lost World. I haven't read it for a long time, and I totally forgot everything about it so it's like reading a brand new book. I forgot how incredibly different the movie is.
