Dailey Enterprizes Posted October 13, 2007 Posted October 13, 2007 ^ Sounds like a conspiracy to me? I'm not really thrilled about this, but what can we do? Cedar Fair bought Geauga Lake and can do whatever they want with it. Shame...
steel Posted October 13, 2007 Posted October 13, 2007 Yay! Conceivable proof of Villain's imminant doom! But I do weep for the loss of RWB. I'm sad that I only got to ride it once. Hopefully they don't to do much damage at KI.
carolinacaniac Posted October 13, 2007 Posted October 13, 2007 I wouldn't be so sure that this will be a completly terrible thing if the three open trains go on the beast. According to many, the G-Trains made SOB a better ride, and a lot of people complain about how rough the Beast is, so maybe this will do the same thing for the Beast? I personally like it just fine the way it is, but who knows?
griffon Posted October 13, 2007 Posted October 13, 2007 That's just scary... I was really hoping they could re-locate Villain, retrack it, and scrap the trains... then put some new PTCs on. That would make a great re-located ride, and you could pretty much consider it new. I guess that's still possible, but probably not likely.
PKI Jizzman Posted October 13, 2007 Posted October 13, 2007 These trains will NOT go to the Beast. The Beast's trains are very long and hold 36 riders. And did anyone answer my question above? The picture gives no indication of them at KI. And where did you get this information? The guy is from England... -J "Abit on edge..." Z
cdp123 Posted October 13, 2007 Posted October 13, 2007 These trains are WAY to small to be put on Beast, I'm gonna agree, I'm feeling like Racer's trains could possibly be transfers for Beast? But for sure these G trains would NOT be good on a large, twisty, turny track, much more a normal sized, out and back coaster.
Team Thriller Posted October 13, 2007 Posted October 13, 2007 This might be a good thing. Who knows, atleast the Villian is happy they kept its trains!
cdp123 Posted October 13, 2007 Posted October 13, 2007 nothing wrong with extra trains BUT, now that i look at those pics, where the hell would all those trains be in KI? I think someone should go and try to locate them.

PKIDelirium Posted October 13, 2007 Posted October 13, 2007 The trains are sitting in the boneyard back behind Firehawk. That boneyard is the former storage location of King Cobra, which was moved out of there last winter.
PKI Jizzman Posted October 13, 2007 Posted October 13, 2007 Ugh...I'll look for them tonight. But this SUCKS!
steel Posted October 13, 2007 Posted October 13, 2007 http://www.screamscape.com/html/kings_island.htm Yes, because Screamscape is so reliable.

I personally like it just fine the way it is, but who knows? IMO the only thing that will be able to save the Beast is to get rid of the damn trims! We think MS was bad? It is REALLY excessive on the Beast. There like 5 REALLY LONG trims. Even though I never got top experience it without the trims (Or at all really!) I still think they are EVIL!!!!
ghost007jas Posted October 13, 2007 Posted October 13, 2007 Yes, because Screamscape is so reliable. Lately it seems that Screamscape knows what it's talking about..

Thank you Mr. Sarcastic, but how about you read the quote I was responding to before you post such ignorant bull crap. "And where did you get this information?"
steel Posted October 14, 2007 Posted October 14, 2007 I didn't say that I think you believe that it's reliable. I was talking aobut the fact that everyone seems so sure of this, but it's coming from a rumor site. Sorry if that wasn't clear.
bgwfreak Posted October 15, 2007 Posted October 15, 2007 Ugh...I'll look for them tonight. But this SUCKS! Did you get a chance to look for them?
Carnage Posted October 15, 2007 Posted October 15, 2007 IMO the only thing that will be able to save the Beast is to get rid of the damn trims! We think MS was bad? It is REALLY excessive on the Beast. The trims weren't what killed Beast for me. It was my back getting slammed into the rock hard seat back over and over again like a jack hammer. G-trains though wouldn't save it. If anything they'd make it worse.
coaster05 Posted October 15, 2007 Posted October 15, 2007 They could try retracking it, but that would cut into CP's budget so that won't be happening anytime soon. Its such a shame at one time Beast was so good.

G-trains though wouldn't save it. If anything they'd make it worse. What Paul said. First came the jackhammering that left me with back pains the rest of the day. Then came an overly trimmed ride with jackhammering that left me with back pains the rest of the day. I used to love the Beast, but I don't ever see CF taking the time, money, and labor to really get this ride back to what it once was.
steel Posted October 15, 2007 Posted October 15, 2007 I don't know what you're talking about with the jackhammering. It's bouncy, yeah, but that's what makes the helix enjoyable. I wouldn't like it at all if not for that feeling.
downunder Posted October 17, 2007 Posted October 17, 2007 The Beast could certainly use something to make it better, I rode it for the first time this year, unfortunately all rides were on wheel seats and the jack hammering was unbelievable. Racer forwards was also awful. Both those coasters could be so much better, though I'm not sure if the trains off a reputedly awful ride like Villian will fix anything.
PKI Jizzman Posted October 17, 2007 Posted October 17, 2007 Beast is on and off as far as jackhammering. I learned my lesson and ride in the front! It's still a great coaster. It was retracked/added new wood for this season. And for me....the trims killed the ride.
