ChemicalWhore Posted September 14, 2005 Posted September 14, 2005 heh thats not a ocean container its just a simple construction bin usually they put tools and stuff in there.
arrowfanman Posted September 14, 2005 Posted September 14, 2005 I dont see any red. I think your looking at the shadow of the supports. Â Â Please dont let that be the colors.
SFMM rocks my socks Posted September 14, 2005 Posted September 14, 2005 I really dont want the supports to be orange that color would look so ugly on  the hill side I think red would be better. Besides red would match the rest of  samurai summit.  Also the way it looks like its going to be a vekoma coaster:evil: But I could  be wrong.
Devious Posted September 14, 2005 Posted September 14, 2005 /\/\/\/\/\ *SMACK* /\/\/\/\/\/\  look at the the photo posted further back, it shows yellow and red B&M trackwork  (Editage: there you go, that spine is WAY too boxy for a Vekoma flyer  *grumbling...*
DonkeyBreath Posted September 14, 2005 Posted September 14, 2005 OMFG Orange  Â What is up is SFMM and Knotts trying to get the award for the worst color schemes lol I pray those supports are for a completely different ride
SFMM rocks my socks Posted September 14, 2005 Posted September 14, 2005 YES! Â Thanks for correcting me I guess its going to be a B&M Â I cant wait it's going to be a great ride. Â I just hope it has at least 5 inversions and a long tunnel that would be great Â
Guest Posted September 14, 2005 Posted September 14, 2005 We have to wait and see. It might fit in the area its going in
incredicoaster Posted September 14, 2005 Posted September 14, 2005 OMFG Orange  What is up is SFMM and Knotts trying to get the award for the worst color schemes lol I pray those supports are for a completely different ride   Come on! the track Is orange get over It! It can be neon pink for all I care as long as its a good ride! 8)
robbalvey Posted September 14, 2005 Author Posted September 14, 2005 I seem to remember everyone complaining about the color scheme of Goliath when it first started showing up in the parking lot...."Orange and Teal?!?!? WTF are they thinking!" Â Now we're all used to it and it looks fine. Â --Robb "Let's worry more about the ride itself and not the color!" Alvey
SFMM rocks my socks Posted September 14, 2005 Posted September 14, 2005 Yeah I guess your right it might look good when its done to but i just care right now how good the ride will be. oh well for now we will have to wait and see.
SLUSHIE Posted September 14, 2005 Posted September 14, 2005 I seem to remember everyone complaining about the color scheme of Goliath when it first started showing up in the parking lot...."Orange and Teal?!?!? WTF are they thinking!" Now we're all used to it and it looks fine.  --Robb "Let's worry more about the ride itself and not the color!" Alvey  Maybe because it's faded.  Maybe in a few years the colors of this will fade and it will look better.  Just hope it doesn't fade to pink.
DonkeyBreath Posted September 14, 2005 Posted September 14, 2005 Yeah you guys are right the colors are not that big of a deal. Â Yeah these are not the colors I wanted nor the type of coaster I wanted, but in reality it's not about me nor what I want lol. So taking that to mind I think this coaster could turn about to be great and I think the colors are cool since it looks like it might belong to a fire type of theme. Â Anyways sorry for overreacting and sounding like an donnnkey ok ok jackass
DATman Posted September 14, 2005 Posted September 14, 2005 stupid question-those don't exactly look like supports to me, arent they supposed to be round, not square  IF i am right, the supports may not be that color!
SharkTums Posted September 14, 2005 Posted September 14, 2005 They're most likely supports for the station, transfer, or maintenance areas.
4718 Posted September 14, 2005 Posted September 14, 2005 They're most likely supports for the station, transfer, or maintenance areas. Hmmm.....sounds oddly familiar to..... Anyway, like I said, I'm pretty darn sure those are supports, more specifically, station supports.
robbalvey Posted September 14, 2005 Author Posted September 14, 2005 ^ Yes, you were right before Elissa. Here's your trophy: Â
NitroJoeC Posted September 14, 2005 Posted September 14, 2005 (edited) Cool trophy! Edited September 26, 2005 by NitroJoeC
Jew Posted September 14, 2005 Posted September 14, 2005 ^Well, if "we don't care that you know about the ride, so just shut up already" fit in the blanks...that would be the new coaster name. Â But since it doesn't, why don't you just come to the realization that being in the know about a coaster and being obnoxious about it on a message board is only cool when you're a 12 year old fanboy?
XanderLee Posted September 14, 2005 Posted September 14, 2005 *stares at colors and imagines Kerian squirting mustard and ketchup onto a plate, and then mixing them in the center to form orange.* Â "Ahh! Pretty and bright colors! And I shall call it "Dragon Ka"
ncf Posted September 14, 2005 Posted September 14, 2005 I was a bit worried that it would look ugly with the colors when I first saw the very first track pics, but fortunately the orange supports saved it
XAquaTeenBoyX Posted September 14, 2005 Posted September 14, 2005 Brand new to the site, but I just wanted to say that I may head out to the park today, so if I do, I'll fill you in on what I see.
SharkTums Posted September 14, 2005 Posted September 14, 2005 Hope you're not going to ride stuff because the park is closed today!
runnerodb83 Posted September 14, 2005 Posted September 14, 2005 Hope you're not going to ride stuff because the park is closed today! Â lol, this is true, last year it was open during this week, and when i went we got on 15 rides by 2pm...we actually had to stop and ride water rides for an hour or two becuase our heads were so messed up, too much of a good thing is bad i guess.
