dandaman
This thread: www.themeparkreview.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=2021&postdays=0&postorder=asc&start=0 Dear God... I know this happened when I was just starting out online, but how could I have MISSED that? That's all kinds of pathetic hilarity.
MrX8991
Can we say an entire thread? Seriously. That thread's ridiculous. People are getting so mad that someone got a coaster fact wrong. What an idiot! Rawr! That thread could have its own parody thread like this one. There are quotes every page that are just gold. I like that thread, but always want to punch myself in the face when one of those situations arise.
Mozart67
I have no idea even where to look for this, but I remember not only commenting, but defending (dear god) someone's idea of designing and/or constructing a suspended wooden coaster. Definitely a "zero to duh in 3 seconds" moment. Scott (I still think Elissa's post about someone asking where to purchase elbow grease is one of the best one-liners I have ever heard.) tatertot3710
Surprised no one has revived this thread! Homer
^All of the POSTS with the RANDOM CAPITALIZATION for EMPHASIS of TRUTH and HONESTY. And breaking non-disclosure agreements in the process. I laughed at this drama.
tatertot3710
I'll clarify: ^ I happen to know at least 3 people who are in management at Knott's that read this thread on a daily basis. --Robb Maybe they should get back to work promoting people who don't deserve it. Their time would be better spent. These two aren't by the posters of the posts, but they're pointing out that what the other person did is dumb: And not telling you about these malfunctions is just part of our jobs as ride operators. No matter how you approach the situation, YOU ARE ASKING US TO RISK OUR JOBS FOR THE SATISFACTION OF YOUR CURIOSITY. That's the issue here. You're already risking your jobs and breaking your disclosure agreement by posting stuff like that on a public message board. Keep in mind: your managers and even their managers read these forums. Posting confidential information (such as you've posted) does break your disclosure agreement. It's not worth arguing anyways, is it? I mean, you're arguing on an online message board... and... ^lol I found this to be funny:If you REALLY know about amusement parks, you know about non-disclosure agreements. You KNOW we can't give you details about what's going on with the ride, and you should respect the person you're addressing enough not to even put them in a potentially compromising situation. Oh the irony! Remember kids you are not as anonymous as you would like to think on the Internet. And there's a bunch of other little things that made me laugh. KrakenKing
In the "Legalizing Marijuana" thread: I'm sure if it's been illegal for decades, it'll remain illegal. If a bunch of people say that their doctors say raping someone would make them feel better, would people be rallying to legalize rape?

ParkTrips
^ I'm just surprised someone outside of the south has heard of Project Pat! coolhandluke
^I was introduced to "Good Googly Moogly" by a friend of mine who attends Princeton. He heard of it from a friend of his up there, and I have also been referenced to "Bang Bang Smack Smack" by Project Pat as well. So apparently he has a following in the Ivy League as well. themeparkologist
Does anyone else think the 95 degree banking will be like a former Six Flags park where people speak Dutch style dive that was featured on their flagship coaster? The name's Goliath but that doesn't help much when dealing with Six Flags. You must laugh at yourself no matter how much you try not to...
