frozenflames
Did I read correctly that there is a Six Flags America TR coming up? Does it have a Mikestery Card? If so, is there any chance you can post the TR before this weekend?
Big Mike
I am sorry Randi, I meant Six Flags Great America! Â I get the SF America, SF Great America, and Paramount Great America confused all the time. Â I will post all the Mikestery locations from this past weekends trip in a few days though! Â Â Still sad I missed you at Nathans! Â Â Peace, Big Mike
Noxegon
The World wide leader in coaster info  Is that a challenge?  Being serious for a minute, thanks for that Mike; nice to know adults can whore the credit at Gillian's; we elected not to drive down that far on the off chance when were in the area last week. Maybe next time.
Big Mike
Hey Richard!! Â I did not know you had a TPR account, and even more cool, reading The Big Mike Road Show!!! Â Â I made you a friend on Facebook and follow your travels on there! Â Â Thanks for the link, I will check it all out when I get some free time! Â Â Now, if there is one thing about Big Mike, he always admits when he is wrong or beaten! Â Â I will now resign as "World wide" leader in coaster info... Â Â .... And my NEW title is now "North America" Leader of Coaster info! Â Â Peace, Big Mike
KnottsDisneyFarm
I don't like parks like Gillian's Funland where you have to PPR (pay-per ride). I just don't like ticket systems...
Big Mike
It has its goods and its bads Brad. Â Â I have gone to parks that make you pay a general admission and all I want to do is ride the coaster and it costs me $20. Â Â Now if they had a general admission at Gillians Funland, there would have been nothing else for me to ride, so the $3 in tickets worked great for me! Â Â Peace, Big Mike
KnottsDisneyFarm
Oh, yeah. I guess it would be good if you only do a few credits. But if you wanted to ride ALL the rides, then that would be bad to have a PPR. Â Have fun at your parents' 50th!
Noxegon
.... And my NEW title is now "North America" Leader of Coaster info! Â Yup - you definitely win on that one
Big Mike
Hello Fantastic Friends!!! Â Â Well as my new job as North American Leader in Coaster Info, I headed out to Fredericksburg Virginia to go hunt down and find a new for 2009 coaster that many fellow TPR people probably pass right by and are not even aware that it is there. Â I also notice that the whole park is not even listed on the TPR Park Index, so to live up to my new title, out Big Mike went yet once again to uncover a brand new coaster for The Valuable Big Mike Readers AND for my good friend Richard, who I notice does not have this coaster yet either! Â You know what they say, us leaders in our respective divisions have to help each other out! Â Â Peace, Big Mike Clue #3. Â THERE IT IS!!!! Â It's only been there 5 days now, go get it fast!!! Homeboy23
I have seen that sign millions of times driving but never stopped to see what was there. Looks like a nice spot for a family.
hyyyper
Wow, pool tables, Time crisis 4 and minigolf! If this place had a B&M it would be heaven. Â But I do wonder what kind of ride 'redemption' would be...
cfc
I have seen that sign millions of times driving but never stopped to see what was there. Looks like a nice spot for a family. Â Same here--never noticed the Funland sign before.
Big Mike
See, that's what being the Northern America Leader of Coaster Info is all about. Â Â If 2 friends actually FROM Virginia did not know it was there, imagine the rest of TPR and the coaster world! Â Â Big Mike gets a special tingle everytime he informs his good friends of hidden places like Dreamland, Gillians, and Central Park!!! Â Â The hard work and life on the road is fully worth it then! Â Â Peace, Big Mike

Sue
Glad to see that Gillian's Funland was busy on Saturday night. When we were there during the day, we were just about the only people there.
Edward
Nice to see you found a nice little out of the way place of fun.  I however have had myself a bit of a wild goose chace. I went to find the Mikestery card at Gröna Lund, but all I found were queues, queues, queues & queues, and remnants of pieces of tape. I wish people could immediately post when they've picked up the card so I didn't have to go on such a strange adventure. I think next time they should be hidden better, and maybe put under the "Members Only" category so that not just anyone knows its location and just steals it. Also mention to the staff so the cleaning crew doesn't think "Bah, clutter". Unless it fell off in the rain or a seagul ate it, then...  Anyways, another unsuccessful treasure hunt.  /Edward Should've dusted for fingure prints, but it's been just under a month. Homeboy23
Hope you're looking in the right place. Remember the Kings Island one, everyone was saying it was gone, but it was really there until someone finally found it a week or two later.
esvadj
Â If 2 friends actually FROM Virginia did not know it was there, imagine the rest of TPR and the coaster world! Â Â Make that three, I even stayed at a hotel off that exit less than a month ago, and never saw it. Of course I was being drug to that HUGE Ikea that's is north of there. I also think that is near where they are building a new indoor water park along the lines of Great Wolf but owned by a different company. Â BIG Thanks to Big Mike for finding the place so NEXT time I can sneak away from IKEA long enough to check this place out.

Edward
Hope you're looking in the right place. Remember the Kings Island one, everyone was saying it was gone, but it was really there until someone finally found it a week or two later. Â I'm pretty sure of it. If one looks at the pictures it is a telescope next to a corner. From what I can tell there are only 2 telescopes, and one is next to a corner. [1] [2] [3] You can see in the 3rd picture that it is still identifiable as a corner thanks to the chains. I did have a look at other lanterns left and right, but this was the only one with marks of tape. I'll attach vid to show I went the right way. Â /Edward WalkToCard2.wmv I'm sure of it! I'm sure. I'm as sure as I am in a Myst realm. ... It was... Blue... KI...?
coaster_dad
More than 24 hours without a reply!?! This won't do! Why Big Mike will lose his top ranking, TPR will be forced to close, health care reform won't pass and KD's new coaster will crash during testing!!! So, I'm doing my part... Â Â P.S. Mike, I've have tried multiple times to add your banner and I keep failing. I apologize...I'm a bad Big Mike fan.
Homeboy23
^ Check Emiroo's post on page 394. He posted how to place the banner for everyone.
Medusa1861
$7 for one round on the coaster? That's horrible. You could get on Great White for less than that (I think). I might actually pass on this the next time I go to PKD. Knowing me, I probably will fork up the $7 just because it looks like a layout I haven't been on. thrillgeek
Sorry I'm just now reading this Big Mike. Haha they have that same coaster at our county fair over. I'm really surprised any full size adult can fit on that thing. Glad you were able to up your credit count! That is odd you have to show a drivers license. Anyway thanks as always for the entertaining pics and report.
