  1. I have been extremely fortunate to have taken many trips with the Alveys. I have never been disappointed. To put things in perspective I have done coaster trips with ACE, ECC and CZ. They have been good but the TPR trips, are by far superior. I have planned and done many trips on my own in the US and Canada and I can appreciate how tough it is to put together such high quality trips that TPR does. Elissa is a detailed planner. This was so obvious with the two Japan trips I have been on. If you do no other trip please consider Japan with TPR. I cannot thank the Alveys enough for what experiences and memories that they have added to my life.
  2. There is one in MA, one in MD, one in CO and one in UT that I know of. I rode the one at Jimminy Peak in MA and it was like a kiddie ride compared to this one.
  3. The prices for the ride are 9 euros for one ride, 25.5 euros for 3 rides and 41 euros for 5 rides. Oh-Big Mike-I am so sorry you don't have this credit! Tobotronc layout from the Naturlandia brochure
  4. You are correct. Catalan is it and I have no idea what it sounds like. The coaster is 5.3 km long.
  5. Good guess but not correct. It is the only country in the world that has this as an official language.
  6. I have been a long time member of TPR and this is my first attempt at a trip report. Please bear with me. I was fortunate enough to travel to Spain on a rollercoaster trip. I was able to take a side trip, with two other enthusiasts to a country that I never heard of before. It is the country of Andorra. It is about 180 Square miles and is located between Spain and France. This little country boasts the longest Mountain Coaster in the world. The lift hill took over ten minutes and the ride down between five and seven minutes. It was incredible. We got tickets for five rides but ran out of time as we only did four. On the last ride down a local asked me if I would give one of his daughters a ride down-I couldn't refuse because she was the same age as one of my grand daughters. We had to go through a border crossing coming into the country but that was not a problem as the border guard was asleep. For all you European experts-What is the official language of Andorra? Crap I posted the pictures backwards Mountains on the way to Andorra License Plate to prove there is such a country We have arrived at Naturlandia Tobotronc-name of the Mountain Coaster Ready to go Start of the lift hill Lift hill More lift hill Even more lift hill Crap more lift hill Almost there Finally-close to the top We are finally on the way down View from the ride My Andorran riding partner The Spanish border crossing
  7. Hey Big Mike I just returned from a whoring trip to the mid west. I really appreciate the information you provided, it was invaluable in planning the trip.
  8. Robb What were you thinking? How did we miss this park on the China trip?
  9. A few years ago I did quite a few of the parks that you list. I was on the road for five weeks, put over 12,000 miles on the car, spent over $4,000, went to 38 states and 2 Canadian provinces, 42 parks and rode 226 different coasters. Its really a great way to see the US.
