Very cool stuff!! Enjoyed reading and seeing all the fun things you did, especially the shows! I am glad to see someone who loves the theater as much as I do. You just don't find enough people in the World who appreciate this as much as I think they should. Hello everybody! How about that, it's anniversary time!! 10 YEARS AGO TODAY!!!!!!! June 9, 2006, we were all meeting in the UK for TPR's first ever attempt at a group tour! Yes, Big Mike was one of the test dummies and if you ever took a TPR trip after that, you can thank The Big Man for not ruining the original trip and giving Robb and Elissa the confidence to run more! Big Mike had joined TPR almost a year to the date (June 7, 2005) before heading out of the country with 50 something total strangers! Since then, Big Mike traveled with TPR every single year after that to different parts of the World from 2006-2013, 8 straight years with sometimes multiple trips per year. Big Mike enjoyed the trips so much that he started this Big Mike Road Show thread and actually amassed over ONE MILLION VIEWS! Even though there has not been an update in over two years, The Big Mike Road Show thread still holds the top spot in non discussion threads in posts in the Theme Parks, Roller Coasters and Donkeys category, and is 2nd only to Shane's Amusement Attic in views! TBMRS thread still holds a spot in both Top 25 polls (posts and views) of ALL threads on the website! So, for this very monumental anniversary, Big Mike decided to throw up a few pictures of himself as always just to mark the important date in TPR history! Hope you enjoy! Hello Valuable Big Mike Readers!!! Big Mike is back once again to show you another adventure taken on The Big Mike Road Show! This trip took Big Mike to the state of Mississippi to visit Brookhaven Exchange Club and home to the ONLY roller coaster in the state of Mississippi, the All American Roller Coaster!!! The Brookhaven Exchange is only open about one week a year during the fair, and this was not even close to the week while Big Mike was visiting!!! Just remember, the park was not open to the public, so the rides are not ready to go! As they were giving me a tour of the facility, they said this ride actually was found on a highway and when no one came back to claim it, they were allowed to keep it. One week a year, these booths are jamming! The guys of Brookhaven Exchange Club not only let Big Mike in to ride and also gave him a tour, but now a behind the scenes VIP tour as well! I have not tried to read the forums from it, but I did try my first update on The Big Mike Road Show thread. I put up an 11 picture update and it didn't take me long at all. Signing up, finding my thread, and uploading pictures was easy, and I even figured out how to do it all on my own, which is rare lol. I then switched to my main computer to see how it worked and the only problem I had was that all my pictures were in reverse order. It took a while but I figured out how to put them in the right order on my main computer. I think this app will work out really good for myself because I can upload updates very easily on my Iphone as it happens in real time. Peace, Big Mike

Big Mike is testing this new app for Theme Park Review that Robb sent an email about! This would work great for Big Mike since he takes most pictures from his IPhone nowadays and would make it much easier to update this thread on the go with up to the minute updates! This was yesterday at Phoenix Phall Phunfest at Knoebels, where I finally got to ride Flying Turns!!!!! Flying Turns was fun and Big Mike's advice is to do some homework early and set up your seat partners beforehand!!!!! Each car can hold up to 400 pounds and they actually have a scale you have to stand on and get weighed! The more the train weighs, the faster and higher up the wall the cars go!!! Have each car maxed out as close to 400 pounds for a total of 1,200!!!!!!! I had a kid behind me and a skinny dad and his little girl in front of me. We gave away about 700 pounds and the ride was limited. Also, Big Mike brought Mom as well as Lucky Dog with him for their first Knoebels experience!! Lucky Dog chickened out of riding the 4 rides he was allowed to, but it was still nice to have him there!!! Hope this update works and hope you enjoy! Peace, Big Mike

Yes, round one has been played, on my next update we will play round 2 and eliminate half more and so on and so on until only 1?remains!

I am going to put up an update every once in a while which will contain a contest round in every update. Once everything is done, I will send out a mass mailing of t-shirt prizes and the grand prize!

You got that right Bob!!! It takes a few hours to actually do an update and when only 200 people see it, I can't justify spending that much time on it anymore sadly!

John, who are you talking to?? I am not talking smack whatsoever if you mean me. 1st, I love Mikey and talk to him on a constant basis and I am sure he will pass me, but that's ok, if anyone does, he would be the best choice. Mikey even wrote me two days ago wondering if we could both manage to ride our last USA coaster together. That's cool, I wish you would act the same way too??? You take this stuff wayyyyyy too personal lol. Of course I know Corona is a relocation, I know everything about every USA coaster. I went there today because it is a "park" I have not been to and declared that on the post you obviously are stalking. I did not lower my coasters needed in the USA. Hello Valuable Big Mike Readers!!! Big Mike is all set to bring to you his 2013 coaster season reports with new pictures and best of all, his quest to ride EVERY SINGLE COASTER IN THE USA!!! Peace, Big Mike . Big Mike visits The Fun Plex in his home state of New Jersey for the opening of the New for 2013 roller coaster, The Fun Coaster! The new coaster opens March 30th at noon, and Big Mike is there that same day to be the first person to ride it! It is good business to have a well known World traveler of coasters be on hand to be the first to ride! Well hello new coaster credit! It makes Big Mike's ultimate goal of riding every single coaster in the USA more difficult when a new coaster opens in the USA, but it is also an exciting time to ride new coasters too, since there are not many left for The Mighty Big Man! At noon when the Fun Coaster officially opens, Big Mike's coaster count of needed coasters to ride in the USA will go up by 1, but as you can see from the time on the ticket, it will go back down by 1 very shortly after that! Exactly at noon, Big Mike hops on board with his lovely new girlfriend Kathy (Little K) and takes the first ride of the day! Who better to open a brand new coaster in his home state than Good Ole Big Mike??? Now that the official business of Big Mike opening the Fun Plex's new for 2013 coaster up is over, Big Mike changes from the Official Big Mike Road Show T-shirt to his casual every day look to show everyone else the rest of the Fun Plex and to also put a serious beat down on Little K in a Best of 5 Champions tournament of various events! I also ran into my good buddy Keith Johnson too!! The prices for The Fun Plex. A couple of deals you can purchase if you are not the special guest that day with unlimited access to all attractions! A map of the outdoor activities, but don't worry, Big Mike will show you everything! The Fun Plex was ranked #1 Family Entertainment Center in all of North America in 2011!!! We will show you everything that makes Fun Plex #1 and start with bowling! This was also event #1 in the Big Mike vs. Little K Tournament of Champions! Big Mike Da Man vs. Little K Bubbles, who will win??? Little K tried her hardest, but Big Mike prevailed 3 games to none to take the lead 1 event to nothing over Little K! Indoor Go Karts! The indoor track! Go Karts were also event #2 in the Tournament of Champions! Big Mike dispalys the #1 finger as this was a forgone conclusion as Big Mike is a master Go Cart racer, winning the event 4 races to 1 to go up 2 events to none on the day. There are also two mini golf courses on property, which was event #3. Big Mike and Little K played both courses and Big Mike conquered them both and just like that, the best of 5 Tournament of Champions was over as Big Mike mathematically eliminated Little K There was also a shooting dark ride game which was event #4, but as most loyal Big Mike readers already know, Big Mike can't be beaten at shooting dark rides! Little K decided to give it a try anyway! Of course, she found out it is extremely hard to win when you are going up against a superstar who is considered "Legendary" with his top score of the day! Big Mike 4 events to none. Lazer Runner was the last event in the Tournament of Champions. Lets just say Big Mike may or may not have thrown the last event to let Little K salvage any dignity that she may have had left Final score, Big Mike 4 events, Little K 1 event. Big Mike is the Champion!!! Now it is time to show you the rest of the Fun Plex, including the Fun Coaster which is no longer coming soon, it is here right now!! The Fun Coaster! Motion Simulator. Bumper Cars. Junior Bumper Cars. Little K has not learned how to use the Big Mike Charm to get on the height restricted rides yet, and also Big Mike saves the charm just for the coasters! Free Fall. Sky Scraper. Tilt A Whirl. There are also outdoor go carts that were not open yet this season. As well, there was also an outdoor water park that they could not justify opening in March in New Jersey. Inside again, there was a huge arcade. Kathy claims to be the best crane game operator bar none. Indoor kids play area. Finally, there are bumper boats but it is a little hard to show you when there are no boats set up yet. It was a great day spent at the Fun Plex, from being guest of honor to the Tournament of Champions, to riding a new coaster, and enjoying a fantastic establishment!
