Hersheypark - approx 45 min (no traffic delays)

Dorney Park - approx 1 hour further than Hersheypark

Knoebels - about the same as Dorney

Dutch Wonderland - about a half hour or a little over (I know it's mainly a kiddie park, but this was my "Hersheypark" as a kid until 1995 - lol)

New Zealand - which since we only have one theme park makes my home park Rainbow's End! The 'big' coaster there is an Arrow Loop & Corkscrew, but there's also a pretty cool mine train coaster, Intamin drop tower, pirate ship, very nice log flume, and some other stuff to do.

This. It's a shame the coaster hurts so much.

I'm from Southern California. My true homeparks would be Castle Amusement Park or Scandia, my closest big parks are Knott's and Disneyland, but I kinda treat SFMM as my homepark even though it's around 2 hours from me. I still go there the most and it is my favorite amusement park out of the 23 I've been to.

Not sure if I posted in this one yet...

Adventuredome is the only "park" we have in Vegas, but I consider SFMM my homepark. I go there more than any other park. It usually takes me about 3.5 hours to get there from my house (if you add a rest stop).

Disney and Knotts are just under 4 hours non-stop. Universal is about 4.5 hrs depending on LA traffic.

We only have 1 here in BC... Playland. The one featured in Final Destination 3 (love that movie!) and Cats and Dogs 2.

The park i believe is like 100 years old but rides have come and gone throughout the years. Our latest major coaster added was Corkscrew (relocated from Boblo Island) in 1985... Our other big coaster, Coaster (a qualified ACE classic) just celebrated it's big 50th birthday last year. It's the last Carl E. Phare coaster still operating to this day. Seriously playland needs a new major coaster or BC needs a new major amusement park... The closest thing we have to a a permanent amusement park is like Crash Crawlys (kids fun center with a jungle gym and mini train ride), Burnaby Village Museum (a museum witha historic Carousel) or Castle Fun Park (Go kart track, arcade, bumpercars etc, but no coasters).

From where I live:

Playland - 30 minutes away

West Edmonton Mall (never been): about 2 hrs by plane away

Fun Forest - 1 hour or more away

Wild Waves - 2 hours or more away

Hello everyone. I am from West Virginia and the only amusement park we have is Camden park which is about a 2 1/2 hour drive from my house. I would much rather drive 1 1/2 hours to Kennywood. I consider Kennywood my home park since I have been there about 10 times and have not had the desire to visit Camden.
