westipher97
Ninja at Six Flags St. Louis. Right after the sidewinder, you go right under the chain return. Also, going into the final brakes you pass by some supports on the last banked turn. Gets me every time!
exit english
I was always a fan of the Whirlwind at Knoebels, when you were on your way back to the station, there's that support that looked like it was probably4 inches away from the side of the train. You couldn't actually reach it, though - thanks to the restrictive nature of the OTSRs on those older Arrow trains, but it was damn close. thomas2
Meg Blitz at Wiener Prater has constantely head choppers. There's almost no moment you can raise your hands without the fear that you might loose them!
verticalzero
The wonderful headchopper 1/2 way up the "Wild Mouse" Lift Hill at Blackpool, tall people have to lean forward to duck. Your so close to the track above, you could touch a car which heads towards the insane mouse turns.
uwgbdork
although not the greatest coaster in the world i am gonna have to throw my vote in for Superman Ultimate Flight. On the final turn just before the zero g roll when you come right by one of the supports by the lift hill. Gets me everytime cause you don't see the huge pole coming. About as good a headchopper can get on steel.
sam06pr
http://rcdb.com/ig3621.htm?picture=40 that small hill looks like a good headchopper. Have any of you ridden this ride?
DBru
The Beast going into the helix gets me everytime. Also, the Legend's second tunnel right after a large airtime hill.
no_brain_er
Ninja at SFOG has a pretty good one on the first drop. Yeesh, I always try to duck.
larrygator
Ninja at SFStL has a good one as you go under the lift hill chain! I'll agree with that. Also, of course the Wild Mouse at Blackpool.
jten11
Both at Wild Adventues: The Cheetah after the first drop... Not really a "head" chopper, but Hangman has some decent foot choppers
LiVeToThRiLl90
Head Chopper would be Cyclone at SFNE. Foot choppers would be any Vekoma SLC model.
Hobbesx2
no way it can't be mambas helix. you have to be on it to understand, even me, someone who is completely sure you're not going to have your hands smacked off, puts my hands down. rgb60
The second drop on Twister (KG)-- heading into the helix-- gets many people to flinch and drop their arms.
arrowfanman
My "personal favorite" would have to be on Big Thunder Mountain Railroad. There's this dip after the helix and before the final lift hill where the train looks as if it's heading for the wall and then ducks down at the last moment. Well executed. -Jahan
ginzo
Both at Wild Adventues: The Cheetah after the first drop... Not really a "head" chopper, but Hangman has some decent foot choppers The best foot choppers are on Superman: Tower of Power at SFKK. Hands down. Hang And Bang
The ones that immediately come to mind for me - - Ninja (SFOG) - Too many to count. - Ninja (SFSTL) - After the sidewinder and during the last turn before the brake run. - The Beast - The helix finale. - The Voyage - The tunnels. - The Boss - The first half of the coaster has a few decent headchoppers. Across_the_Universe
The Phantom's Revenge didn;t really get me when I rode it, but when I rode the Thuderbolt for the first time I was like, "Is it just me, or is the Phantom track TOO close to the TB?" on the drop out of the station. This is a picture when it was The Steel Phantom, but the WOW factor is still there!
HAZARD
I would have to say, Spacemountain at WDW, Lights on, check it out, also when going into last tunnel, you can actually touch the top of it.
ebl
Funny how no one said anything about the tunnels on the Matterhorn at Disneyland. They've been enlarged a bit over the years, but I remember when there was a lot of head ducking on that ride. Eric
odie
I think Tremors at Silverwood (Idaho) is a good contender. The first drop is into a tunnel then you go through a gift shop then back into another tunnel.
