Looks like Krypton Coaster is pretty sweet, but to be honest, I've ridden a lot of floorless coasters and they're not my favorite style. I think I might like Kraken the most out of them, but I'm not sure.

I'm all about Blu-Ray. I pretty much only try and buy things on BRD, anymore.

Why not call it Santeria? It's in keeping with the Mardi-Gras theme they have now, since it's basically just a combination of Voodoo and Catholicism. Of course, there's all of the death curses and dolls, and candles and oh wait a second... Those who practice Voodoo already do that stuff as well.

Depends on the ride. If there's supposed to be a theme, it needs to work well - but I'm really not picky. Q11) Queuing… Do you like to see the ride whilst in the queue? Or do you prefer the sense of not knowing what is going to happen? I prefer not to look at/hear the same thing for an extended period of time. Q12) Because of the direct proportionality between rides and queue length, do you prefer short ride/short queue, or long ride/long queue? Why would you go and ruin their conversation like that? I guess i just don't get it - if I was talking about something anywhere, and some know-it-all busted in to the conversation uninvited to correct me, I'd tell them to go f themselves.

Yes, you are - The S&S coasters, perhaps? Oh, and the mag brakes are passive, they only help slow the train down, there's no pulling the train over with those things..

This one always gets me, especially when I hear "enthusiasts" bring it up. Honestly, if you're into a ride *that* much, something is wrong with you.

Well, yeah - that one's blatantly obvious, but then again, it looks like a big log flume, and lots of log flumes don't get you very wet. I'm all for making fun of people for their stupidity when it's warranted, but there are just some that I don't consider to be worthy of getting annoyed about.

I guess there's something wrong with me, in that I don't see most of these as being "dumb" comments, so much as human nature. Just because someone doesn't know everything there is to know about parks and roller coasters, doesn't make them inferior beings. Granted, some of the stuff that people in general do can be pretty funny, but I don't think it's "fair" to get annoyed with someone for their lack of a hobby. Candidly, when visiting an amusement park - even if you're a giant fan of coasters, you are still 100% a part of the general public, especially in the park's eyes. Well, I didn't meet you - but I sure SAW you a lot at Kennywood last Monday. In fact, we were pretty much right beside you guys in quite a few lines. I remember seeing the shirts, and the hat. Talk about a HOT day, but after 5 PM, you couldn't have asked for better. 2 train waits for Jackrabbit, 1 train for Thunderbolt, and walk-ons on most of the flats. I grabbed a decent amount of pics with my new camera that day. Here's a couple of them for show. -Josh

The Intamin drop towers already are stopped by magnets. In fact, they are pretty much the pioneers of such technology. As for a cable guard, it seems as if it would be rather difficult, as it would be right in the ride's path. However, if they were to somehow retrofit, or develop new, a system of holding the car from behind, that would effectively move the cables so they would be flush with the tower, allowing for some type of guarding similar to the hydraulic launch coasters to be placed and the vehicle would clear it. Am I making sense with that? Josh
