Having two chains isn't enough if they are both connected to the same sprocket and drive motor.

There two chains is probably in case one of them snaps. Really no idea though. One could be used to lower the train slowly backwards in an emergency. That staircase looks like a whole lot of fun.

Swimace Posted April 23, 2008 Posted April 23, 2008 ^^^ I think it's like that so that in case they need to evacuate a train on the lift they can reverse the lift and lower the trains back down. I'm pretty sure it was discussed earlier in this thread, but I'm too lazy to dig it up.

Yeah, I noticed that a while ago. it would make sense if there were 2 seprate motors, but it seems like it will run off of 1. The trains look awesome, but the seats show've been the color of the supports; they look too dark.
