Hersheypark Announces Fahrenheit!

Was up at Hershey today and took a few pictures. I haven't seen this big support yet I dont think. Is this the lift?

I drove past hersheyparktoday. They verticle part of the lift track is being installed and it about 1/3 up the lift tower.

Ah, so that's how they're going to try to evacuate the ride on the lift, a spiral staircase. Seriously, I hope they plan on putting in a carridge like on SheiKra for the lift. That's what puzzles me.

This ride is looking awesome! I cant wait until they complete the layout and start testing. I'm still kind of confused as to where this ride is being built in Hershey, is it just on the site of the Chute-out? Or are they reclaiming some of the parking lot that wraps around the front of the park.

 

After the Boardwalk expansion, I didnt know Hershey had much room left...

I can't wait to ride this sucker. That drop looks insane! Looks alot bigger than I expected too.

Also,is that view from Tidal Force or Wildcat?

I didn't notice any trick track in the video, but even if it is, its not the first steel coaster to have it, some togo stand up coaster had it too. King Cobra, I think.

Wow they have really gotten a lot done since last time I checked. It seems like they should be done with the track work in no time. June is going to come way to slowly.
