KDcoasterMAN
X-Works..... Can we infer that this means that three B&M Wing Coasters will open in 2012.... By looking at the layout.... The first think that comes to mind is Dive Machine.
asimowalk
It would be great to see a new lift hill poking into the skyline by the end of the season like with Behemoth. With that aqua colour, perhaps it will have some sort of 'ice' theme to make the interaction with Dragon Fire make sense... Wouldn't it be awesome if they brought back the old fireball paint scheme on Dragon Fire's train? I'm surprised they didn't do it for this nostalgia season we have this year. Carnage
I was under the impression that x-works is kind of a common code name used to avoid identifying the client.
redfoot12
I'm confused--or probably just mistaken--but I thought that the "MC" in the part number was supposed to designate the type of coaster. MC = Mega Coaster SC = Sitting Coaster DC = Dive Coaster FC = Floorless (Flying?) Coaster Obviously, the park already has a mega so I guess that initial scheme is incorrect. chemical_echo
Giga Dive Machine...obviously. If it is indeed B&M I'd imagine track pieces would be at the Ohio plant. Has anyone been near there lately and seen anything new?

Gigalyte
Now I know what the engineering marvel will be, it be how B&M made a 300 foot dive machine feel like absolutely nothing j/k Seriously though Im wondering will this be somekind of First from B&M maybe a launched coaster. The way some of those footer are located within and around DF could a DMtrain, or wingrider train even fit the way some people were saying the footers are so close DF must be leaving. Also the way that huge square footer and triangle foot are set up I was thinking a top hat would be sitting there.

The first think that comes to mind is Dive Machine. They put the "x-works" name on the customer label to prevent us from figuring out which park a B&M is going to. coasterbear30
I have never seen B&M footers that look like that....it is obviously Intamin and Screamscape is saying that it is a giga because someone saw a tag on one of the footers that said giga caps. Calling it now, Intamin Giga or Hyper similar to Hersheys.
Schotcher
Well, if it were to be a Giga DM, I heard it would need a completely different support structure then what we see on other B&Ms, but a huge jump from 240 feet to 300 feet seems a bit odd for B&M, they normally don't push the limits. We'll have to wait and see. Edited August 24, 2013 by Schotcher
Jive
Those are definitely B&M part tags on the new pieces that showed up.
Schotcher
Well if its a DM it's definitely going to top the rest (Since they're making such a big deal about it). But I'm not sure it'll make it over 250.
Skycoastin Steve
The only thing those beams could be for a B&M is the station/transfer track structure. I don't think they've ever had a coaster without column supports. However, their stations and transfer houses frequently use I-beams.

Heard that if B&M ever wanted to go "Bigger" they'd need to use a whole new support structure for the lift hill.
kunpc1
At first glance the supports looked like Intamin. However, once I saw the X-Works sticker and checked out Behemoth's storage/transfer area again, it looks like it's another B&M. Steve, if you make it up here, we'll have to set something up! Would love to meet up with my TPR folks again!
QueerRudie
I'm calling it now... It's the long-rumored Inverted Wooden B&M version of the Aquatrax. With LSMs.
Skycoastin Steve
Steve, if you make it up here, we'll have to set something up! Would love to meet up with my TPR folks again! I'm tentatively planning a trip to the western NY parks and CW next year (with the obligatory Marineland stop). It's all new credits for me, and this new coaster gives me proper motivation to make the trip. I'll definitely let you and Ian know ahead of time.
