That is indeed correct Brother Jay. It took approximately 1 minute for the train to get up the lift hill. I think I captured the first moment of the 2nd train in testing.

This thing looks to carry its speed all the way through, including over the hills - which larger coasters such as Nitro don't. It looks like B&M finally managed to build themselves a large, winning hypercoaster.

 

(Unless they trim it to death, of course.)

It looks like CF has hired the same artists who did the KBF maps to do these as well.

 

This looks like a truly awesome coaster, and is one of the three new ones I am most excited about this year (X2, this one, and Led Zeppelin at Hard Rock Park).

Nice to see they reconfigured the pathways around Minebuster, Stunt Coaster and Behemoth. That Minebuster/SkyRider area was always way too crowded. Moving the Stunt Coaster entrance should help. Hard to tell, but sure looks like they moved SkyRider's entrance too.

I think even the GP can figure out that the proportions in the map are cartoonish.

A new testing video has been posted.

Look closely at the 1:11 - 1:12 mark. I think you can see someone sitting in the train, 3rd car, back row.

^ There were a few trains in that video that looked like they had one person riding. It's hard to tell if it's a person or just shadow though.

If I had to guess though, I thought it looked more like an accelerometer strapped in to measure the g-forces.

 

Didn't really look enough like a person to me.

You would think that they would use accelerometer before they let a person ride it.

 

I think it would casue a tonne of pain to ride the ride with the temp at what it is too.

The trains look terrible. The arrangement of the 2-2 thing reminds me of the dreaded GIB's where it's a mad dash to try and get a seat on the same row as your friends!

Well unlike the GIB's Behemoth will have 16 gates for each row not for each car.

^GIB's have gates for each row.

 

It just doesn't work well on them because they're inverted, so vision is blocked and space is much more cramped. On this open sit down train, it will be open and much easier for guests to see where they'll be sitting.

Yeah, on the Deja Vu's the get to the far seats you have to walk in front of the next row of seats, which causes alot of confusion.

 

On these you won't have that problem. As each row, and each train is separate. So it shouldn't be nearly as much of an issue.

In my opinion from just watching the videos, these will be awesome trains.

 

Behemoth looks like it will serve its share as well.

I'm so going to laugh if this thing turns out like Raging Bull, an awesome ride with lots of potential hampered by trims (However, I love Raging Bull).

Hopefully it won't be trimmed like Goliath at 6FoG. That thing after the helix was cranked up to stun last Saturday. It totaly killed all the airtime on the return back to the station. If you took the time to watch it outside the gates, you could visibly see the train slowing down about 10+MPH.

Wow. They need to fix that.

 

When I rode Goliath last year the trims after the helix were on, but barely did anything to the train. The return run had gobs of airtime. In fact, Goliath had by far the MOST airtime of any hyper I've been on. I still liked Nitro better, but Goliath was great also.

 

If they don't fix that, Goliath should go out of the top 10 this year. Nothing says lame more than brake raping a $20 million marquee coaster.

While it's a good picture, it sure looks like the caption is taking a shot at the park.
