coasters 4 me Posted July 14, 2007 Posted July 14, 2007 I was there on the 9th of July.....Grrr. I was hoping to be there at the same time to maybe meet you guys. But I was travelling with my friends family and I couldn't just ask when to go where. And also, we were in Alicante, not as if it is beside the park. Anyway, I loved this park!! I really like the drop tower. When you were there, were they only operating 1 train on each coaster? The queue for Magnus Colossus took ages with only 1 operating.

OK, call me crazy, (or if you're Robb Alvey, call me crazy AGAIN), but I LIKED White Canyon. We marathon rode it the whole day I was there and had a blast. It was rough, but "fun" rough and not "jackhammer vibrator" rough. I've heard lots of people slamming this coaster and I think maybe we just got a good day or something. The only other 2 I've ridden are Bandit and Coaster Express. Coaster Express WAS terrible "jackhammer vibrator" rough. Bandit was great in it's first season with the original trains and just got worse after that. PS: 300th post!

I went on it when I visited my family a couple of years ago. It made the exact same noises as Magnus Colossus multiplied by 100, and wherever you sit, you're bound to get whiplash. It's just like one of those rides that you wonder why you got on it in the first place.

Wasn't White Canyon the ride where Elissa was screaming, "Oh God... what is it doing to my body?!?" There was NOTHING appealing about that ride. Nothing. At all. Whatsoever. Period. Now add another period for emphasis. It looked okay but it was far worse than any hang 'n' bang, any KMG death machine, or pretty much anything else on square wheels ever created by mankind. I'd equate it to 3600' of violent head on collisions. I don't think I've ever been as close to having a concussion as I did when I stepped off that ride. Not even after Goudurix! Or my only "ride" (i.e., beating) on Zonga. And to think we get to do it all over again in a couple of months! On second thought... maybe KT will need someone to vomit on that day.
