SteveC
Hey, it might be funny to you, but for me, that kind of revelation is rather traumatic!! I had no idea I sounded British, and finding out from a stranger on an internet forum... that's just cruel. Lou, that video clip of ER II storming into a photo shoot saying "I've had enough of dressing up like this".......well I rest my case- Lou - Queen of the UK Brits TPR style (with just a hint of the black sheep Princess Margaret thrown in for good measure.."I say you over there...where are my bloody fags?") BeemerBoy
I never thought Lou sounded so... british. 70+ pages, and still my favorite quote thus far. Scott "Yeah, what's with British folks having a British accent?" B. Hey, it might be funny to you, but for me, that kind of revelation is rather traumatic!! I had no idea I sounded British, and finding out from a stranger on an internet forum... that's just cruel. Awww, Lou, don't worry. I actually like the accent. It's got a classy sophisticated sound to it. And the good thing about having it is that you'll never be mistaken for a dumb, arrogant American. robbalvey
Today started our "Mini-Europe" part of the trip! A short, 4-day whirlwind tour of Klotten, Tripsdrill, Holiday Park, Toverland, and Phantasialand. We got in everything, though! The saddest part was having to leave about 1/2 of the group behind in Spain, but we picked up about 20 people! Yay!!! Onto some photos..... And finally, we'll end this update with a "BIG MIKE PHOTO!!!" Yay!!! Photo by Hanno Roos. and the crazy airtime hill, after airtime hill, after airtime hill....seriously this ride is AWESOME! the crazy "OMFG, we're REALLY close to that wall" turn... With the crazy helix.... And Klotti Coaster! They are more "do it yourself" rides at Klotten...like the happy fun slide! Photo by Hanno Roos OMG!!! EVERYONE LOOK OUT!!!! Photo by RCFreak Hoffman Girl gets all wet. Is it Dan's goofy smile or the cone shaped head that makes this photo so damn funny? Photo by Hanno Roos Miles close to impact! Lou mid-air. Elissa made a good splash! There goes Hector! Bruno just came....back...came back from boat jumping! SKLOOSH!!!!!! Photo by Hanno Roos WHEEEEEE!!!! Up the lift you go.... James, get in and pull the cord. "For Boat Jumping activity...Chris will be our ride op!" If you remember our last update from Klotten then you know it's time for BOAT JUMPING!!! Our first stop! Sea Pigs!!! Yay! Our welcoming committee!!! The rest of TPR also crashed out! (Don't you all wish you had a bunny and a blanket....except for James....he wants Hippo and a blanket) KidTums totally crashed out on the plane with her bunny and a blanket. Hey Rich! Nice legs! In Spain, even McDonalds has Gazpacho. Here we are at Madrid airport at 6am. Hey! At least it's not as bad as the 4am morning from last year's add-on! ParkTrips
Awww, Lou, don't worry. I actually like the accent. It's got a classy sophisticated sound to it. And the good thing about having it is that you'll never be mistaken for a dumb, arrogant American. TP Dave sounds freaking British! The "Northerner" in Loo is much easier to understand. I guess the superior linguistic skills are more defined up there.

SteveC
Never seen so many OMG/WTF expressions from the TPR crew than those on Nautic Jet. Got to say that Dan looks like he is levitating the boat and about to shoot off into hyperspace, like something out of the Jeffersons (I guess anyone over the age of Old JJ Man will get that reference.....not many then )
RCFreak
You know, being the "test dummy" for the bigger folk I do have to say I was really scared of the friggin' boat jump.
Rob.Lloyd
WTF Those Nautic Jets looked brilliant but knowing my luck I'd sink straight to the bottom
TheLastGunslinger
Man, I wish we had some of those do it yourself rides here in the US. Unfortunately, I don't have nearly enough faith in our population to handle them.

If you can't understand it that means you're speaking the language wrong! On that note, the time is now "forty-five to quarter to eleven" I can't believe i lost that race! I was by far the largest person and i cheated. I'll beat elissa one of these days And how scared does Ed look in that photo?!

cobra_roll06
That park looks pretty fun! I really want to ride that little boat-jump thing, I would probably shit myself at the top though and scream like a little bitch!
thefitness
Klotti coaster looks insane! The happy fun slide doesn't look bad either! Is that the same slide Elissa got that massive bruise from? I wonder if anyone has ever tipped over in the jumping boat thing. That would suck!
TPDave
Well we pushed the boat up to it's limits and we survived, only a couple of us actually got wet. It was really scary for us bigger people to do, Robb was hilarious: "Robb, the tracks bending behind of you" "Please don't tell me that!" "Ok, now it's bending in front of you"
IceDragon
"Robb, the tracks bending behind of you""Please don't tell me that!" "Ok, now it's bending in front of you" Lmao!!! Oh man! I wish I could've come... Can't wait for next year!!!
Brad_G
I think I would of bean filling my pants on the boat ride, just incase it tipped over but it does look cool.
Louise
On that note, the time is now "forty-five to quarter to eleven" OMFG, I just literally BURST out laughing at that for a good two minutes!! LOL at the whole accent discussion. I'm sad that Jow was able to understand me, and that he didn't sound more Southern. I kinda figured our night in Dusseldorf would be entertaining if neither of us could understand a word the other was saying. Klotten was fun. Shame it isn't bigger, but I'd rather have a small park where everything is fun than a big park with lots of filler rides. I never did find out why you guys were calling them "Sea pigs"... what did I miss?! Oh, and Dave, I think cheating slowed down your momentum. Honesty always pays. rllrcster
On that note, the time is now "forty-five to quarter to eleven" OMFG. I'm laughing so hard right now! I needed that. The depression of the best vacation ever being over has really settled in today. The mini updates have certainly helped! Good times, good times.
